Cabin was in a great location for access to everything on the ship. We were next to the "pantry", which is a working area. Perhaps if we chose a cabin like this in the future, we would get the one next door. There was some overnight noise from the pantry, but not too bad at all. We did have noise issues with a neighbor who chose to turn on their TV between 1 and 3 am and leave it on overnight. A few nights it was pretty loud. Interestingly, you couldn't really hear it in our hall, so it was hard to get motivated to go around checking cabins behind us (opposite side of ship), above us and below us. Earplugs enabled us to get back to sleep. This cabin was also well positioned to minimize ship motion. It was a successful experiment to see if we could enjoy an inside cabin after having outsides, balconies, aquaclass, etc. on more recent cruises. It worked fine. We slept well with the more complete darkness. The bed was comfortable and the size was larger than we remembered (but our last inside cabin was on an older ship). Don't know if all inside cabins are the same size. We asked a couple of cabin stewards but got different responses. Great shower. No sofa in our cabin, two chairs. Read entire member review >>
Only our second cruise and first time with an inside cabin, fine for my husband, I hated being inside and would pay for balcony next time. Cabin was roomy, we had lots of places to put our clothes. We did enjoy the experience very much. We are happy to recommend this line. Read entire member review >>
If like me you don`t intend to live on the ship and are going to be out and about its adequate! If its not much more it would be worth a balcony but its not really needed to be honest if we had a balcony we wouldn`t have got much use out of it as you are not in the cabin for long enough as your either on shore, in restaurant, bar or show Read entire member review >>
Fantastic! I would recommend this cabin and would sail in it again in a heartbeat! Plenty of room (roomier feel even then a balcony cabin) and plenty of storage. Very quiet location and close to elevators. Loved it. Read entire member review >>
We booked this cruise quite late so didn't have much choice of cabin. We were on a budget so had to have an inside cabin. Location was very good as it was tucked away just off the main corridor so no passing traffic. It was very quiet. We're not bothered about being mid ship so didn't mind the walk anywhere. It was very quiet, it was spacious, twin beds and a sofa, Flat screen television with good choice of channels, films and music if you want them. Plenty of drawer/storage space - mainly above beds so had to climb on bed - bit of a downside Beds were very comfortable.Wardrobe was a bit disappointing (compared to P&O Azura) and it was in an awkward position as the sofa was too close to it so you had to to a bit of breathing in to get to it.The other niggle was there were no tea/coffee making facilities but not a deal breaker.Bathroom was much better than what I expected for a cruise ship. It was quite big decor was nice - lovely tiles and shower cubicle was spacious. All in all this is a good cabin Read entire member review >>
We were on the 8th deck, but inside stateroom was not an option on the list for deck 8. Our rooms (inside) were big enough for us and our daughter to be comfortable and the extra bed was fine. For my wife and myself the size and quality of the inside stateroom was a pleasant surprise, and the $1500 we saved over a balcony will pay for another short vacation. Because the ship has so many public places to sit and read, sit and watch the ocean or sit and eat or just people watch, we actually spent very little time in our rooms. For anyone who is budget conscious I can highly recommend the inside. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was very nice-----good size ---and very comfortable bed.Not ideal with storage above bed...but not end of the world for us.Stateroom attendants very attentive as you would expect and nothing too much trouble,,a real credit to Celebrity. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8167, off the main corridor towards the front of the ship. Some vibration and movement whilst sailing, and occasional noise from ship whilst docking. Quiet corridor. Smallish closet. Read entire member review >>
9168 was a good room. It was located in the front of the ship, on the same floor as the card room. I only heard and felt the ships motor once and just a bit. I didnt have a window, wish I did. Basic room, comfy. Now my friends were on the 7th in the back of the ship with the full glass window, but they felt the motors terribly when they would start up and that was in my opinion unbearable. I did feel like the people above me were like a stampede but I would think it just depends on people and their walking habits. We were tucked away off a turn in the hallway. Cabins are paired in modules with a curved wall between each pair and a straight wall between modules. This means that the beds, which are in the curved bump-out alternate between window-side and door-side. Specify your preference when booking anything below the larger suite categories. We stayed in a suite on our last cruise and wanted to see if it's something we really need to do to have a great experience. It isn't. Our room was just as big as a balcony room. Has the exact same storage space etc.
Was it as good as the suite? Of course not, but it was definitely comfortable and a lot cheaper.
The only thing that I should mention is the cracking noises. The ship moved quite a bit and on most nights there was a weird groaning/crackling noise from the walls. I can't explain it but it's very loud. Maybe because it doesn't have outside walls??
Wish the couch was a little smaller to be able to get at the closet better. To reach the most storage you need to stand on the bed. If you are unable to do this you'll loose out on a lot of space. Read entire member review >>
8159 -- Very quiet inside cabin on deck 8. Great location on an interior hallway so very little foot traffic nearby. It felt bigger than a standard outside even though there was no window. Read entire member review >>
Inside cabin, well laid out and more spacious than others where we have had experience. We had a nice settee as well as a queen size bed. Large flat screen TV that provided information and entertainment. You could also view the many photos they take of you. Ample storage for two people. Large bathroom, Overall quite comfortable, very quiet. Read entire member review >>
