The cabin had a fantastic view as it was right at the front of the ship with a large picture window. The cabin was very large, longer & wider than than my sister & brother-in-law's cabin although they had booked one with a balcony. It would have been even better if there had been seating in the window. Unfortunately the TV had been set up to angle to the window rather than the bed so that is an error that should be sorted out. You don't hear much from the corridor outside but it did seem noisy when the ship was coming into port & as this was always early in the morning I did get woken up early quite a bit. As it overlooks the helicopter pad there was a great view when they were practising air sea rescue! Overall the noise issues were far outweighed by the size, brightness & position of the cabin & I would definitely book it again. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin, settee an uncomfortable hard leather square. Bathroom great. All very clean (except for the wardrobe doors that had lots of handprints from the previous holidaymakers).
Quiet locaton even though it was very near customer relations. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was a reasonable size, with comfortable beds. It was quiet, but apparently not all guests were as lucky. It had a good bathroom with an excellent shower, but the design of a very small basin with the tap right across the middle made it almost impossible to use for anything other than washing your hands in. If like me you prefer a wet shave, then it is very difficult to use - a bad design indeed. Poor quality, single ply toilet paper seemed unnecessarily penny pinching too for a 5 star ship!
Power outlets comprised two US and one Continental style sockets. The Samsung TV (1360x768 60Hz) has standard HDMI and Composite input sockets if you want to play your camcorder video through it (but bring your own interconnection cable). Read entire member review >>
I was in cabin 8312. It was one of the most modern and beautifully appointed cabin I have ever been in. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the room was of a good size, had a very usable couch, large balcony, and a wonderful bathroom. The TV stand and bathroom both featured granite tops. The bathroom had a huge shower and a vessel sink with a tile backsplash and tons of storage. Read entire member review >>
We loved our cabin, but there are a few changes that could have made it more comfortable. Being avid readers, we found that the lighting over the sofa and the bedside lamps was not really adequate for reading. The cocktail table in front of the sofa made it awkward to move around in the cabin, but was nice to have for drinks, breakfast, etc. There really is a need for more drawer storage for clothing that does not require hanging. Maybe the closet can be configured to provide some shelf space. Read entire member review >>
gets very hot at night even with the aircon on and at the start of winter after 2 nights restless sleep due to this found that leaving the curtains open keeps the room cool during the night.
the draw space is not massive which could be a problem on longer trips and we found the water took ages to heat up we were starboard and my parents who were port said it was boiling all the time. Read entire member review >>
