Our inside cabin was clean and nicely decorated by cruise ship standards. There were some odd bits of wasted space, and not very many drawers, but we made do. The cabinets over the bed were hard to reach except by leaping up onto the beds, so we didn't use them except for library books as we figured they would be high risk for forgetting things in. We had an inside stateroom which was fairly spacious. It had a massive very comfortable bed, a sofa, a kettle, fridge and good size en-suite toilet/shower. We were provided with complimentary toiletries which were good. The bedding was cotton and the towels were lovely and fluffy. We also had bathrobes which was a nice touch. The only complaint we had with the room was the lack of pillows but we used the cushions from the couch so not the end of the world. Read entire member review >>
the cabin was bigger than I expected. bathroom was adequate with a surprising amount of good hot water on demand. public bathrooms were great...I washed my hands with hot water 2X before each meal and after each meal...
the gym staff tried to shake hands when I went there the first day. some female who was trying to sell spa services.
WHY would I ever shake anyone's hand on a cruise ship? I don't want to get norovirus. The second day we got a letter sent to all passangers about people on board who had already been diagnosed with norovirus.
