This cabin is right by the forward escalators so is excellently placed for access to all decks and especially the Aqua spa, Solarium and indoor pool. The bed is by the balcony which is my personal preference. There is no obstruction on lower decks so one can look down to the sea. There was no problem with any smoking from the port side of the lower deck 5. There was no noise to disturb us from its proximity to the elevators. Our cabin steward and helper were efficient and unobtrusive. The room was kept immaculately clean. There was a little ship motion coming back across the bay of Biscay but speaking as an extreme sufferer from sea sickness...... I wasn't sick and coped well with it so it got a thumbs up re that too. I would take this cabin again in an instant.

Storage for clothes were our only issue.

Balcony cabin, unfortunately we were only able to use it for a 2 or 3 days due to the inclement weather. One of the Duvet covers had holes in it and was not changed during the whole cruise. Lack of dusting. initial requests for pillow choices and extra hangers carried out straight away.

The cabin was what you would expect it to be, nothing more nothing less. The interactive TV was handy to watch on-demand films and order room service. There is plenty of storage space, especially if you remember to put your luggage under your bed. The room layout is well thought out. The veranda was standard and because of the weather, underused by us.

Good sized room, modern deco and convenient location, spacious balcony and shower. Easy and advanced setup TV remote system, Coffee making facility. Plenty of storage and hangers. Partially Obstructed view (as booked) but it was not really bothering us at all. On the down sides: Needs more attention in cleaning, working men on the top roof in front of our balcony on two days during our stay without prior arrangement with occupants. Very friendly and polite attendant (Alex).

Cabin design needs re-thinking. Trying to enter the wardrobe with a sofabed in front of it is not only ridiculous but you need to be a contortionist to get your clothes in and out. Cupboards above the bed is a good use of space, but not if you are disabled or elderly.
The balcony is a good size.
Slamming of the doors is an issue. Not sure why cruise ships do not fit doors that have those special slow closing quiet door mechanisms as I can't count how many times we were woken up from inconsiderate passengers at night slamming their doors.
Shower is rather small. I am 5ft 7" - small build and he shower cubicle was small for me. Not sure how tall (or larger) people get on.
Bed was comfortable.

Cabib 8325 - standard balcony cabin which was spacious, well equipped and with good storage. Bathroom was very impressive. A quiet location, near the back on the port side. Not overlooked or obstructed view.

8192, 8194 No real noise from surrounding cabins, however there was a crew door opposite which opened and banged shut at 5.30 every morning and continuously throughout the day which woke my Mum up every morning as she is a light sleeper. Other than that- faultless

A perfectly fine balcony cabin. There was a lifeboat below which blocked some of the sea, but by no means would I call this an obstructed cabin.

8110 and 8112 Adjoining rooms in front right side of ship. Right underneath wing bridge, which they clean daily, causing the balconies to get wet. Rooms are all the way forward, so very quiet. No noise from nightly performances in grand foyer area. Good access for kids and teens up to the kids club area which is also in front part of ship on level 15.

Deluxe cabin is fantastic deck 8 nice with minor obtruction by lifeboats but deck 7 even closer so to be avoided. Balcony adequate for 2 with nice furniture. Reclining chairs and round table . Bathroom is good size especially the shower stall including sliding doors. Decor beautiful with real tile backsplash. Sink is adequate but long faucet obstructs it, while elegant is not so practical. Lots of storage and best functioning apparatus ever. Overall storage seemed fine at first but you eventually have Agee with others it is somehow inadequate?

CABIN: I have posted a view of my C1 grade balcony cabin on deck 8 at This was a very small cabin (under 200 square feet) which could be sold as a four berth cabin. How four people could live for two weeks in a cabin this size beats me. There is a small dressing table with a hair dryer and a couple of electrical points. Both electrical outlets were 120 volt. The third point was for the kettle. Be aware that the 120 volt outlets will not fully charge your shaver, camera, phone etc. There was also a 32" flat screen TV with interactive controls. There was a choice of about 20 channels. You could browse the internet from your cabin for 75c per minute. There was plenty of storage space (for me) with some 24 hangers in the wardrobe. Plus an umbrella and a couple of dressing gowns. The fridge stocked a comprehensive range of drinks.

Great cabin, well-situated for lifts on either side of the ship, good view and size. Already booked it for next cruise.

The cabin was clean and well kept by the stewards as big as anything we've had before with the balcony. Who designed the hand wash basin with that tap directly over the middle of the sink. You could not wash your face without banging your head on the tap.

Whist the cabins were well appointed, it was a tad narrow, the bed was by the balcony doors and feel that had it been the other way round with the sofa near the doors the room would have felt bigger. Everything else top notch.
