Generally a very good cabin with excellent beds - very comfortable. Great shower enclosure in the bathroom but who on earth decided to put those huge taps in the handbasin? There is no way to splash your face with water without soaking the entire bathroom floor. Clearly not tested by a man who wet shaves

Cabin in general was good, a bit small but no problems.

Good veranda views fore and aft. Use the over-the-bed storage for extra space, and store luggage under the bed.

Great location on "hump" - allowing views both fore & aft.
Also close to main banks of elevators meaning could get to Oceanview cafe in a couple of minutes (great for midnight snacks!)

Great location by the Centrum Lifts and on the Hump so had unobstructed views.

Great time away! mikechass
9104 Lots of shaking in the room, whenever the ship backed up or parked at the ports... Honestly it felt like someone was standing at the foot of my bed shaking the mattress with all their might. Was quite scary when it woke me up. Lots of banging above us. Noises through out the night. Shower had a sticky door but not a big deal.

The Stateroom (9278) was excellent even with 3 of us sharing. The bathroom was of a very high standard with quality Hans Grohe shower and tap fixtures; excellent water pressure in both and it was nice to have a good-sized shower cabinet with sliding doors rather than a curtain. The bathroom also had loads of clever storage space in drawers, cabinets and shelves which negated the need to pack toiletries away each day. The Stateroom was a good size and our (26-year old) daughter slept on the sofa without any problems (there was also a drop-down bed recessed in the ceiling but we had no need to use this). The slide-robe was just long enough to take all of our clothes, after getting extra hangers from Antonio, our excellent Stateroom Steward. The balcony was a decent size with two reclining chairs and a small table. The Stateroom was located starboard, aft/midship next to the elevators (separated from the Stateroom Gangways by a partition wall) but it was extremely quiet and we never heard our neighbours or the elevators at any time. The location was excellent giving fast access to the elevators and therefore the restaurants and central bars, lounges and shops.

We were in a category 1B veranda -- 9108 -- forward, starboard. From this location, you can see the bridge, so it's quite interesting to watch the officers with their binoculars as you sail into port. What was particular notable for us is that even though we were very far forward, we felt very little movement. Compared to other ships and other lines, the cabin bathrooms were the largest we'd ever seen without being suite bathrooms. We toured an inside cabin also and saw that the inside bathrooms were the same size as the verandah bathrooms. I'd choose this cabin category again in a heartbeat, but frankly, would be happy in an inside as well since they were mighty spacious.

The room we had was mid ship easy access to either front of back set of elevators. It was a very quiet room , we used the balcony a lot. we liked the layout with the bed being closer to the balcony. as soon as you open your eyes in the morning the ocean is right there for you.

Very small. They advertise as 15% bigger than normal..but that must be in height! We needed to keep my dads wheelchair in our room as the room didnt have space for 2 in theirs. shower great Not enough drawer space and the wardrobe unaccesable as settee blocks it

Our cabin was comfortable and quiet. It was far enough away from the elevator and high traffic areas. Above and below were only staterooms - no public areas - so there was no noise from above. The balcony had comfortable seating and a large enough table for a small meal or drinks. The cabin was also a few floors above the rescue boats so we weren't really aware of them.

Great cabin, huge, lots of storage space, big bathroom, comfy bed, good room steward. Noisy kid next door, it would be nice to have all families in one section on the ship. I personally, would pay extra for an all adult cruise. Just my opinion.

Our cabin was 9200 - forward/midship. Our cabin steward always kept it spotless and made sure we had everything we needed. We liked the balcony furniture - nicer than some we've had on other ships. Not as much shelf space as we've had but the storage above the bed is ample. Like the layout in the bathroom - made it feel roomier. Larger, flat screen hdtv is nice. Room was quiet for the most part.

Our cabin was a balcony on the 9th deck and we liked it very much. Having breakfast outside every morning was very nice, Size of the cabin is adequate, nice bathroom with circular shower door witch make it more comfortable. Flat 32" TV and room was very well decorated.

8th floor forward, Spacious cabin inclusing a spacious balcony. Superior lighting and bathroon. Excellent interactive TV system, including use for room service. Staeroom atrtendant was outstanding. Lots of wind noise possible at night as we liked to keep our balcony door open while the ship can cruise up to 24 knots! Very relxing listening to the waves....

Our cabin was great. The bathroom especially was well appointed with a great shower. The room has good storage. The closet was hard to access as the couch blocked it. The furniture was very comfortable both inside and on the veranda. We were very pleased with our cabin, location, size, etc.

8th or 9th decks are terrific- rooms on both 7 and 10 insure a quiet experience.

Less area in cabins with balcony if bed is by the balcony. The closet space is reduced because of the configuration of the bedding. Bed away from balcony gives more closet area and usable space. Bathrooms are larger and shower area has sliding doors with more area for showers and storage in bathroom.

Wider hallway outside as on the "hump" but very quiet. Storage disjointed. Loved bathroom and "bar" in shower for leg shaving. Missed a washing line for smalls in shower. Quality of toilet paper poor.

great location, ice and quiet. Not enough storage space. Excellent bathroom, large shower and plenty of storage in the bathroom. Great flat screen tv and great services from the room on the tv.

CABIN 9149 - Forward Cabin Next to Elevator. Quiet cabin - cannot hear the elevator bell at all nor passengers using the elevator. Good soundproof doors. It's an adjoining cabin but again, can't hear the neighbours, unless balcony door is ajar. Easy to get down to Solstice Theatre but a long walk to get to Oceanview Cafe and Dining Room.

FAMILY REVIEW FOR THE ECLIPSE. Funky Face Painter, UK
We did have a creaky roof, that was sorted straight away and stopped. You could also hear a lot of toilet flushing, think our cabin was near a toilet flushing highway! More closet space would be better, very tight for 2 adults and 2 children (but fine for 2 adults!). Lovely cabin though, would not let the above put me off but next time have booked a 1A on the hump (bigger balcony).

9254 Placed almost in the middle of the ship it it a quiet cabin with good access to the lifts. It has the option to have direct access to the cabin next door 9250 which would be good for a family.
