Smaller than we expected. Decent balcony with two recliner chairs and small table. Bathroom hand basin tap had long overhang that made it easy to hit one's head on when rinsing one's face. Nice shower cubicle but the advertised "massaging shower head" was a disappointment, there were just two choices of adjustment on the shower head. Very quiet and effective extractor fan in bathroom, no misting of the mirror. We never received our ship card holders that were supposed to be placed in the cabin as none available on board. We did get our tote bag though. Cabin attendants did a great job. Canapes were only average.

Stateroom No. 1658, Deck 11, Starboard, Aft - There was a bottle of “Champagne”, some fresh fruit and a tray of canapés to greet us as we arrived into our stateroom which was a C2 Concierge Class. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space above the bed, under the bed, drawers and a large size wardrobe. Our room had a convertible sofa bed, although we didn’t need to use this. The bathroom and shower were a good size. There was a wall mounted tv, and mini bar. Our room steward told us that because we were on the full premium drinks package, that any drinks taken from the bar would not be charged (there are notices saying charges would be made!). Apparently Celebrity have recently changed their policy on this. Because we were on Deck 11, the overhang from the Oceanview Café did prevent some direct sunlight, to the balcony, depending on the time of day. However this didn’t bother us too much as we were not in the room that often. However, the big gripe with this room was at night. It is two decks below the Ocean view Kitchen. We had noise on and off during most nights from the kitchen, with utensils being banged around (metal on metal) and what appeared to be chopping and slicing of vegetables on the metal surfaces. There was also noise from the dragging of chairs on the hard surfaces, although we couldn't work out if this came from the bar area at the back of the Cafe, or from individual balconies above. The eating areas of the Cafe were carpeted, so it couldn't have been from there. The metal on metal, did echo down through the ship. We could also hear the cleaning of the hard surface floors during the night! We made comment twice to our room steward about about the noise and also near to the end of the cruise and to the Concierge. We paid extra for Concierge class, to "be located in the most desirable part of the ship" yet the noise from the kitchen did partly spoil it for us. We understood from other guests, that some in the suites above, on Deck 12 had complained as well about the noise. Celebrity really need to address these issues with better sound insulation as it must affect a number of staterooms in this vicinity and probably on the decks below Deck 11, as well!

Good size cabin on the 12th floor. We try to keep quiet about this cabin as it's our favourite in a great location. (Don't tell anyone!) Lovely big 6 foot wide comfortable bed. Too many pillows and cushions though! Enough wardrobe space with a lot of hangers but we took a lt with us too and needed them. The shower room is a good size with large shower cubicle with sling glass doors. Plenty of storage too. The Balcony has too lounge chairs with footstools and a small table.

Not sure which Concierge Class we were. Always cleaned while we were at breakfast or on tour. Never interfered with us. Had problems with safe twice but someone attended to it immediately; also toilet stopped working but Viraj had it dealt with straightaway. Would have liked better bed for 3rd person, the settee wasn't very comfortable.

When we first arrived at our cabin we thought it was small but it swallowed up all our luggage under the bed and there was plenty of wardrobe/closet space. The bed was very comfortable but the sofa (which converted to a bed) was not so. We had one cabin above us and above that was an overhang near the stern which blocked the sun onto our balcony during the middle of the day. The shower and bathroom were excellent with neat cupboards for all our toiletries etc. Our room attendant was a lovely lady and very helpful and friendly. The standard of cleaning was very good.

cabin appeared to have been recently refurbished, or at least very well maintained. No issues noted at all, good views from the port side balcony mid ship. close to elevators but not too close to be a noise issue. Climate control systems worked well as can be expected. Our cabin layout made accessing the far side of the closet difficult, with the couch in the way. There was limited drawer/shelf space. The over bed storage was fine, but difficult to access easily. We are young and flexible, but in 10 years this might be difficult to use. There was plenty of under-bed storage for our empty suitcases. Our room had a great flat screen TV that only allowed for the Ship's Apple TV, even though it had available HDMI ports. All these ports were defeated so I could not watch any of the content that I brought on my computer. No reason for this that I could see or understand.

Cabin was about the same size as most balcony cabins we have been in but very well maintained and presented and well serviced by our attendant. The bathroom was excellent and larger than on most ships. We were bellow the entry to the buffet and there was no noise at all. We had a larger balcony than most, being on 'the hump' and the balcony furniture was very good and comfortable - not like the plastic seats and table on some previous cruises. One of the best ships (and cabins, and cruises) we have been on.

Roomy enough for two people with 2 bags each + photo/video gear. Comfy bed - the linens/pillows allow for excellent sleep. Lighting could be a little better AND the minimal amount of clothes hooks needs improvement. Balcony is roomy and perfect for views and photography/videography. Shower is like a water closet - if you're a BIG person, you ain't gonna like it! Otherwise, bathroom is roomy enough for your cosmetics, etc.

The cabin was an average size balcony cabin. Quiet position but near back of the boat, so long walk from lift. Used to walk up to Ocean View on 14th floor from 11th floor as usually quite a wait for lifts, so quicker to walk. Really find it awkward to get into the wardrobe as the end of the sofa quite close to wardrobe door on right hand side. Also having to fling clothes into storage cupboard over the bed or stand on the bed. Also found because of the over hang above( The floor of the Ocean View on 14th floor) the balcony did not get sun when lower floor cabins did.

We were on deck 11 and not too far from lifts. The cabin was very nicely furnished with adequate storage, although the large wardrobe was a little difficult to get to as it was situated sideways on to the fixed settee. Cases fitted well under the bed. Bathroom was quite a fair size with an adequate sized shower with sliding doors and high enough for a person over 6ft tall. The balcony, which we made good use of, had two nice chairs with footrests and a table.

Cabin 1245
Jun 2013
Well positioned on the "hump" of the ship on Deck 10, near the library. This meant our deck/veranda was larger than most. The decor of the room was very nice. Most impressed with the storage and layout of the room. We had a good size closet with many hangers (if you need more, just ask). There was ample room under the bed for all the suitcases; and 2 roomy cabinets with doors above the bed. For those not as nimble as we are, perhaps put items up there that you don't need as much. Room has a desk that morphs into a bureau: has shelving, drawers, quite a bit of "counter space" on top, and a small refrigerator stocked with things you would be charged for if you use them. Good thing: there's enough room in the fridge for us to store our own bottle of white wine. The room comes with a tray with a coffee pot on it, coffee filters etc.....we had the stateroom attendant remove these so we'd have more room for our things atop the desk. Coffee is readily and easily available in the Ocean View Cafe just 3 decks above us so we didn't really feel the need to brew our own in the room - rather have the space. The couch is quite comfortable to sit on also and plenty long. Comfy and roomy bed with excellent pillows. I get cold so asked for an extra blanket which we had all cruise. Bathroom is amazing: shower is roomy with glass doors, excellent water pressure. Learned in a magazine about the Eclipse that women were on the design team which is probably why there is a wonderful little bar in the shower, at just the right height and placement to place one's foot while shaving your legs. They think of everything! There are also drawers, counter top space, and shelves with glass closing doors for more storage in the bathroom. The sink is well positioned, good height, and a good size. Some complain that Concierge class is extra money and all you get is a welcome bottle of champagne and a small tray of appetizers every afternoon -- however it also means you have a better choice of deck and stateroom placement. Well worth it in our book! Stateroom attendants were excellent. We had a bit of a problem one day with our sink draining - called and it was fixed within 15 minutes and never happened again. Umbrella and binoculars are also provided in the room. Highly recommend stateroom 1245 on the Eclipse or the Solstice (we were in 1245 on the Solstice 2 years ago which is why we chose this cabin again on the Eclipse).

Excellent cabin on the forward bump. It is the smaller of the over-sized balcony and is about 30% larger than the norm. It is convenient to the forward elevators, but you do not hear them or the passengers using them. Depending on the rate you can get (we got a military rate), it was cheaper than the corresponding 1As on lower decks. We would book it again in a heartbeat.

LOVED the cabin! The shower was extra large with sliding doors instead of a curtain. The bathroom was roomy. The Stateroom was very roomy with wonderful amenities, the balcony was adequate and comfortable. Loved the layout of the cabin, the interactive TV was great once you figured out the remote controls, cabin stewards were phenomenal! Clean sheets every other day or so, all the amenities. Could not be better. I think they have resolved all the cabin issues with this ship. We will sail again on a solstice class vessel.

Our Concierge Class staterooms was everything we hoped for. It was spotlessly clean, had a lovely balcony and the double bed was so comfortable that we slept well throughout the voyage. The Stateroom entertainment via the TV was very easy to use and had everything we needed. There is also plenty of room to store even our large cases under the bed! The bathrooms are particularly well laid out with good shelf and cupboard space. Bath robes are provided and fresh towels every day. The toiletries were really nice to use, though there seemed to be a strange reluctance to replace the bar of soap when it was coming to the end of its life!

Not for me! By: Ella Harrell
Room very small. Rounded bottom of mattress makes it diffult to pass through the cabin - very little space between bed and wall. Storage almost nonexistent. A shelf above the closet would be nice allowing for bulky storage. The shelf above the bed was so high that anyone under six feet had a hard time getting anything out without everything falling onto the bed. The room was close to elevators making access to other parts of the ship easy. Bathroom spacious and well appointed. A magnifying mirror would be nice for us seniors.

A lovely large stateroom on the starboard side near the rear (third from the back). Positives - Lovely modern furnishings and great big bathroom. Lots of storage space. Negatives - Noise from the service areas across the hall can be very loud. Overhang on balcony does affect the sun. We had a bad sewerage/rubbish smell that happened on around 5 occasions during the cruise (always at night). We never did find out the cause. Having met others on the 12th floor, we found they had had similar problems. You could also smell it in the hallway at times.

Room- We stayed in 2107, which is Concierge Class on the 12th floor. This was an awesome room with a balcony, and the balcony is bigger than other ones too. Awesome floor to be on since that is the same level is the pool and one floor up is Oceanview Buffet which has breakfast/lunch. Great location. We will always get a balcony from now on and will probably check out Aqua Class too. They got to it in Blu, which I heard was amazing. If you can afford a balcony, it is worth every penny. The room was laid out very well and was pretty spacious. Very quiet too.

Celebrity Eclipse 9296 is nicely decorated. Very quiet location despite connecting cabin and the elevators around the corner. The elevator and stairs made this very convenient: 4 decks down for Cafe al Bacio coffee in the morning. We heard little to no voices from the halls. The storage spaces were adequate for two but the drawers in the bed area tiny. The couch takes up too much room so we used for beach items and pillow storage during the day. The curved shower door is outstanding. Storage in the bath area is OK and there is a hair dryer for use at the desk/dressing table by the TV. The balcony is the best benefit of this cabin. Very large (perhaps 3 times the norm) and there is a nice dining height table and 2 reclining chairs with foot stools. We had sun on half of the balcony for half the day which suited us. We had a nice view to the aft due to the angle of the off the hump balcony.

Would Do It Again! By: CAF53
We were on the Concierge Level. Cabins and balconies are small, but comfortable. We did not have any difficulty navigating around the room or bumping into furniture despite the small square footage. I like Celebrity because people are not permitted to smoke on balconies so you can actually enjoy the balcony without having to smell smoke from nearby neighbors. There is a stiff fine for anyone who violates the no smoking policy. There is adequate storage in the room. Plenty of hangers were in our closets. The room has a nice size couch with a small table. There is a safe for valuables. A small desk area with a mirror and chair. Hair dryer was provided. However, if you need your clothes iron, you will have to pay over $3.00 per item just for the pressing. No travel irons are allowed on board.

We were in 2106, Concierge room The location was great-just a few steps from the elevator, stairs to the Oceanview Cafe, or out the doors to the pool deck. The balcony is slightly larger, being on the "bump." The balcony did get a bit of water each morning when they hosed off the pool deck. We had some overhead noises from the carts being pushed along the pool deck early in the morning. The closets can't get any larger, unfortunately. It might help to have a shelf above the upper hanging bar. The only space that is wasted for us is the bar. Too bad we can't have that cupboard. We did go ahead and use the cupboards over the bed, which meant the steward had to leave the pillows stacked on the couch. I like all the shelves in the bathroom.

Great bed, nice TV - could be turned toward the bed or the couch, no drawers or shelves to put things in or on and hanging space with limited hangers. Very classy bathroom - had more storage than rest of cabin. Couch - not easy to sit on. Furniture on balcony was very comfortable- great chair footstools and nice table. Liked having balcony covering above us - could be out even in the rain. Interesting view- opened the door to a sign which indicated forward and aft as well as the service stairway. Most had some kind of artwork across from the doors. Noticed a lot of motion regardless of the speed of the ship - more than normal IMO. 1649
