This was our 25th wedding anniversary so we booked a suite for the first time. It was wonderful. We couldn't stop smiling when we saw how big it was. We were used to turning sideways when walking past the bed in normal sided cabins. The Sky Suite is the lowest level of suites but it was really perfect. The closet was huge compared to normal cabins and the bathroom had a nice, deep tub and lots of storage space. The restaurant for the suites, Luminae, was worth the price of the cabin. Every evening we had a portal right next to our table so we could watch the sea go by and the food and service were out of this world. The menu is smaller, but if you want to order something from the main dining room, its not a problem at all. Great room and wonderful experience. Well done, Celebrity! Read entire member review >>
The cabin was spacious and had a larger balcony than normal Sky Suites because of its location. The room comes with Butler service. He gave us a number to reach him at anytime if we needed something. He served us breakfast on the balcony every morning, brought ice for our champagne, served tea in the afternoon, etc. It was really a nice and useful service and you didn't have to go looking for someone or decide who to ask when you needed something. Plenty of storage and closet space when compared to normal staterooms. Couple of things to point out. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo that requires you to step up into the shower. While it wasn't a problem for us, if you have some mobility issues it might. The other oddity was that one wall was completely mirrored. I know it is there to make the room feel bigger but it only served to remind me that I was getting bigger from the great food and drink on the ship. Read entire member review >>
The "suite" was no more than a standard balcony room with 40 extra square feet and a bath tub. Tall cruisers beware- the tubs are elevated such that a 6ft person will be within an inch or 2 of the ceiling. I had to duck down low to get my head under the shower. Further, stepping down to the main bathroom floor, from the tub, is a tricky if not dangerous maneuver. Plenty of storage space. The "butler's" sole function seemed to be delivering a few cookies and coffee during the afternoon. In the future I would opt for a larger room w/o the "concierge" service. Lovely sky suite with comfortable bed and pillow menu. We didn't hear any noise from the hallway or next-door cabins. All cabins have been 'solsticized' in 2011. The only thing missing in the suite is a cd or dvd player. Read entire member review >>
Quiet location, good room size and dimensions (13.25ft x 19.75ft), small bath (5ft x 6.5ft); narrow verandah (4.5ft); unpleasant view just above the life boats and their cranes. Read entire member review >>
