Cabin 8206

For a ship about to be sold off, the cabin was in excellent order - better than many on P & O ships still in service!

Good location for the Buffett. Not far from the lifts and stairs. If the ship is in Sydney Harbour, you will face the Opera House! Not much passing traffic outside your door. Room creaks during rough weather so bring ear plugs. We could also hear one neighbour's TV when they had it on. Overall, still a great room.

Cabin was very comfortable for 2 adults. TV channels not the best , too many repeats and all news was from USA or BBC.Shower was best size we have encountered after 3 other cruise lines.

Quiet despite the location above the casino. Easy to get anywhere on the ship. Clean but in need of an update. Fantastic storage closets! Great views from balcony.

Great location, quiet room. Small room, but efficient and tons of storage. Nice large balcony. Comfortable bathroom and a larger shower than I'm used to on a ship.

Our balcony cabin was amidship close to the central stairway. It was clean and quiet and everything worked properly. We enjoyed breakfasting on the balcony table. The straight chairs were fine with the table but did not encourage lounging on the balcony. The Century has more closet space than the newer ships. The flat screen TV allows access to ones account and also serves for ordering room service. The bedding seems to be common across the fleet with a mattress that is too hard for us. The stateroom attendant provided an egg crate to soften the surface for us.

Good use of space in the cabin. Great shower in the bathroom, however the sink was very shallow and when the faucet was turned on the water would shoot across the sink! Closet space OK, but not many hangers. Few drawers.

Cabin 8045

Wood fittings a bit marred and edge of a wooden shelf had grey paint marks daubed on it. Cabin was not dusted thouroughly enough for my liking although standard of clenliness was generally good. Cabin has just enough space for 2 adults. We had our 13 year old son with us on a fold away bed and this made for cramped living. Shower room size good but hand/face basin rather shallow. Some would find toilet flush button hard to push. Air-con is efficient but noisy.

First cruise - loved it! By: Mamarazzi01
Comfortable stateroom with plenty of space and nice furnishings. I was surprised about how much storage room it had--more than enough! Two large closets fit both of our large suitcases and hanging clothes. Another closet offered drawers, shelves, and a safe. In addition, there were other shelves and cabinets in the room. The balcony was a nice touch. The room was clean, and our service was great. The bathroom was fine, but there was really enough room for only one person at a time, which I would expect for a cruise ship.

Century quality has gone down By: icemountain561
The suits are very nice, and come with butler. Conceriage class I don't think is worth the extra money, same size room as a regular outside cabin, but get some hors d'oeuvres at dinner time.

Small, but well maintained stateroom.  The views are not obstructed and pretty awsome in Norway. The room is quiet and has good access to stairs and elevators.
