We chose this cruise because we wanted to try a different line.(Previously been on NCL)
Service was excellent, always greeted with a smile. We felt like royalty. The Equinox just had a refined feel about it without being stuffy. The ship was sparkling clean, never had to wait long at all before an attendant would come get our drink orders even on busy sea days. Food was very good on MDR, cafe ...
Perfection is very rare but with Infinity’s always smiling and helpful crew,, flawless attention to detail, beautiful design, amazing food and wonderful entertainment, it is as close to perfection as I have ever experienced in my 100+ cruises. I was so impressed with the staff, they went out of their way to provide incredible service with a smile. The ship is spotlessly clean and very well ...
We are relatively new to cruising and we have just completed our third cruise. We have only travelled on Celebrity and we have completely enjoyed our times on the ship. This was our longest cruise (12 days Southern Caribbean) and this was our first time in a Suite. We booked this trip on board over a year ago so there was plenty of time to plan and look forward to the cruise!
When we originally ...
I would do this again. Embarkation and disembarkation were flawless. This was an easy to negotiate, enjoyable, pleasant cruise for those over 60. I saw most people, lounging with a good book for most of the day. And pool side, decks 10&12 got full quickly. Others with friends enjoyed some sort of board game. The ship has very obvious worn spots in several of the lounges. I actually ...
Get ready for my all over the place, rambling review!
We sailed on Equinox last year for a 3 day cruise. I really wanted to try the Celebrity brand and we just fell in love. Previously we cruised Carnival and Princess. This was our 5th or 6th cruise. I'm in my 40's, BF is in his 60's.
Flew in the Friday before since weather in PA/Baltimore can be iffy in January. Took SAS Transportation ...
Have cruised with Celebrity before. This was the bottom of the pile. Continued loss of amenities and anything resembling modern luxury. Minimal entertainment or on board activities. Harried, yet slow service in Main Dining Room. Example, being seated while table still being set, tables too close together and too muck tableware for the size of table. Food average, but seafood uniformly dry. Pastry ...
We were on the Infinity from the 5th to the 10th. The ship is showing her age, but is a really great ship. The crew were incredible, so friendly and helpful. This cruise just reinforces why Celebrity is our favorite cruise line. Our room was a midship balcony, it was quiet peaceful and had that luxurious view that is so great. They had 2 comedians and both were really funny and appropriate for all ...
Everything leading up to the cruise & all of my plans turned out to be a nightmare including my mothers plane flight being cancelled at 3:30am the day we were to fly & had to get her a new ticket! All that changed when we got to the open arms of Celebrity........& BOY DO I MEAN OPEN ARMS!!!!! From the moment you walk into the building until you are shaking the hand of the cruise director & the ...
We chose this cruise because it was port intensive....we visited 10 islands, two of which we had never visited before. Decided to get away from the cold weather and cruise in January for a change. Overall, the cruise was very enjoyable and we had a great time. Embarkation was a breeze. Got there at around 11:15, dropped off our bags and by 11:40 we were checked in and on the ship. One issue that ...
We went with 2 couples who have done this exact cruise many years in a row. We have only done 1 cruise prior to this and did not really enjoy it, however it was a Carnival down to Mexico. That cruise was a druken fest, everyone was smashed and rude. We booked this cruise thru a travel agent and felt comfortable with the price and amenities offered. We opted for the gratuities package and the drink ...
