We had sailed Celebrity several times before and they serve our demographic (retired couple) quite well.
We wanted to cruise out of the Northeast so that we could avoid flying.
The Summit is due for a total refurb in Feb 2019, and it does need it.
The decor is a bit dated, the cabins need some rework and the cabin-locks were troublesome from beginning to end.

Chose this ship for the itinirary which was very nice although unable to stop at Bar Harbor due to weather.
We did have rough seas on several days 8 - 14 ft waves. We were concerned about being on Deck 2 but actually was an advantage. More stable. Able to walk up to Dining room on 5 & main common areas. Never an issue getting on/off ship in ports from Deck 1,2 or 3.
