Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

This was the second time that I was on this ship. First time was great (the year before). This time it was terrible. It all started when boarding. I had a couple of bottles of wine in my suitcase which you are allowed and they held on to it in security. I was not informed and had to go get it myself. The food in the café was terrible. People were saving the pea soup was yesterdays ...

Third time not a charm, but not bad.

We chose this cruise for the Itinerary and hopefully the time of year and value...and it did not disappoint in that regard. We had amazing weather. This was our third time on Constellation in three years, so we were doing a lot of comparing. The ship is comfortable but dull. The food has gone downhill. We believe this may be because they are really pushing the specialty restaurants. The ...

We booked this cruise during last years bogoho sale. We picked it mainly for the ports & that it covered 3 countries in the west Med. The unkonwn ports of Alicante, Spain and Sete, France were a plesant surprise which we thoroughly enjoyed walking around exploring. Not to mention the other ports were great with the exception of Marseille which was a disappointment and VERY dirty. - next time ...

Cruising the Mediterranean in early Fall is a great way to avoid crowds at the port cities while still enjoying nice weather that ranged between 70 and 80 degrees during the day. The Constellation is an older ship with about 2,000 guests, which makes It easy to get around without encountering long lines. We had an oceanview cabin on deck 3 near the Grand Foyer, which was a very convenient ...

This was X cruise number 9. So we can sort of saying that we like Celebrity. We are a couple in mid 30, so compared to the rest of the demographic onboard. We are on the younger side. But we like it, we go early to bed and like to have one glass of wine together whit good food. We are not party-all-night fans, so what X gives us, fits us perfectly. We flew in to Barcelona a day early. So had ...

We chose to cruise to celebrate my husband's birthday and since we have been to Europe many times this ship had an itinerary that was different for us. It wasn't our first choice to go on the Constellation because it was an older ship......but what a surprise!! The renovations that have been made to the ship are really lovely and we even booked another cruise on this ship for next year. The ...

We went on this cruise as part of the Abraham Hicks large group. It is so wonderful to cruise with people of such high vibration. The itinerary and group workshops were wonderful! We were well taken care of by our wonderful cabin attendant, Nino. Our cabin was well located aft and midship. We are used to the newer ships with better storage and bathrooms, than the Constellation. It took some ...

Great Crew, Good Food, Abysmal In Room Entertainment

Pros - Crew is top notch - Food is good, even in the buffet where we prefer to eat as other venues often to slow for us - Despite being an older ship without newer ship amenities like real shower doors, the Constellation is well maintained Cons - In room entertainment is a huge embarrassment - * Most channels are devoted to promoting the cruise and ...

Not sure if we will sail with Celebrity again

I have to say, the embarkation was extremely smooth, so this was a good start to our cruise. I do however feel that even though having a refit the ship still felt a bit dated. The cabin was clean, but again felt a bit dated. We have only cruised 6 times previously and have never taken in a show before. This cruise however we took in 5 shows and really enjoyed them. The staff were so so friendly. A ...

I chose this cruise because I understood it was a 'top of the line' cruise.. also I'm not a huge cruiser so wanted one that had previous great reviews. The ship itself is very nice and the public areas are really superior. We loved the solarium area and the availability of the beds etc. The library and the little places on the ship to relax are really nice. The dining was hit and miss, the one ...
