We chose the cruise firstly because of the itinerary and secondly on recommendation.

Embarkation was excellent. We were through check in and on the boat having lunch in about 20 minutes. I agree with another reviewer about the printing of the sea passes - it was very poor quality and by the second day had rubbed out almost completely. We enjoyed all the excursions on this cruise. All well organised and enjoyable. The main reason for choosing this cruise was to visit St Petersberg so extremely disappointed to be advised that the ship could not get into port due to the high winds. First the Celebrity Silhouette is great. Food, entertainment, on board activities, relaxing poolside, all very good.
