We chose this cruise as the weather in the Indian ocean is good at this time of year and the ports of call were new to us. Never having sailed on celebrity before, we had high expectations as it was not a large ship and entertainment reviews were good.
The entertainment was good , as were the helpful cheerful crew, however we were disappointed with the food choice in both the main dining and ...
Service generally way off cekebrity standards except in Blu - food and service there was excellent. Wi-Fi improved but still intermittent. Excursions so so. Local providers much better and cheaper. Prices for everything on the ship extortionate.
Fitness facilities on the ship were very good and the Buffet selection on food was excellent
The food and service in the Suite restaurant ...
Loved the variety of ports offered on this cruise. Abu Dhabi to Abu Dhabi, including Dubai and Mumbai and Goa.all different and exciting in their own way. The New Year overnight tour in Dubai was fabulous, from Jeep riding over the dunes, camel ride to a Bedouin camp and dinner the Bedouin way. The tents were extremely comfortable.
Sunset on the dunes and sunrise at the camp were ...
After a wonderful cruise to the Baltic on Silhouette we turned to Celebrity for Christmas and New Year and found the India and Emirates cruise, which we booked with great anticipation.
What a disappointment, the ship, not the itinerary.
Not enough storage space in cabin, cases would not fit under the bed, seal strips kept coming off the shower door, the balcony, deck nine had a massive ...
We are Celebrity fans having first cruised on Equinox in 2013. We only ever cruise at Christmas and with friends we met on our first cruise.
The biggest disappointment was the arrogance of some of the passengers especially with the sunbeams. Now we Brits have a reputation for competing with other europeans for beds around hotel pools in europe but seizing 20 beds at 0630 using 4 towels per ...
Christmas and New Years Cruise in Asia. My son and I went on this 14 day Cruise, we loved the food and the staff 95% were incredible. Unfortunately our cabin Steward was not one of them her cleaning especially the Bathroom being very inadequate. The entertainment was very average and there was a distinct lack of things to do on Sea Days.
The production shows especially Broadway were quite ...
was Looking forward to sailing back on Connie after doing the med on her in May however we were on deck 9 and had a bad overhang. this time we had deck 11 perfect rooms. It was the same matrie d in Blu and Laurence was fantastic being a vegetarian she remembered us and straight away we got the same table every night and same waiter.
Shame the entertainment and shows were the same as back in ...
My review will be on the ship/cruise line primarily which was more of a disappointment than I expected despite my previously reading reviews of the cruise line and the ship itself. I've cruised RCL, NCL, Oceania and HAL, and even done a few river cruises so I have several points of comparison. This ship's weakness comes close to my HAL experience which is why they will be added to my one and done ...
Recently returned from this much anticipated cruise from Abu Dhabi. Found the ship to be tired with internal & external maintenance required, especially in some of the public toilets.
There was a sewage smell at various areas throughout the ship during most of our cruise. On the last night there was a sudden potent smell of sewage appeared in the theatre mid show & approximately 100 people ...
We have thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. The ship is a little shabby but this will be resolved in January when the ship goes into dry dock to be refurbished. The ship was immaculately clean and well maintained despite its age.
We ate in the Blu restaurant and the food was excellent, and there was always a good selection. The crew in the restaurant were amazing and always made us feel very ...
