Beautiful ship and excellent itinerary

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Celebrity Apex

We found this itinerary appealing as Iceland and Ireland (and Norway the following cruise) were countries we had never visited and they would be cooler than our hot desert summer. It was our first E class ship and after reading opinions on this ship it was exciting to see for ourselves. Neither the ship nor ports disappointed! Love Amsterdam as the embarkation port - easy to fly to, train ...

Well it sure was'nt the carribbean...lol. It was a sedate crowd with very little to do on sea days. The shows at night were very good and plenty of seating with 50% occupancy on the ship. The main dining room food was hit or miss and some of the meat was very tough. Eden was fabulous with excellent food and service. Steakhouse also very good. We should not have to pay extra for a nice dinner. ...

I just finished Celebrity's survey that they email you post-cruise, but it did not give me a chance to say what I really wanted about this much anticipated cruise. Instead, this is going to be a really long review so I can get it all said! As an introduction, I am soon to be 65 and my husband is soon to be 68 with our son who is 18 and starting college in August. We live outside Philadelphia ...

Beautiful Ship, but ...

I've previously sailed on the Equniox and thought it a much better ship. The Apex was beautiful, but not enough common areas to hang out to read a book or gather at a table to play a game. No promenade, no library, no ice bar. 14 decks compared to 19 on the Equinox, seems they took away common area for rooms. I appreciate we were only at 50% capacity, otherwise it would have been impossible to ...

Sensational, spoilt for life!

We wanted something different and opted for a cruise to Norway, leaving from Amsterdam, as we had never been to any of these places. It was simple getting from our hotel in central Amsterdam to the Terminal and onboarding was slick and immediate. We were required to do an Antigen test two days before sailing, which cost us Euros 80, and were never requested, which is bizarre. I hope they change ...

This was a cruise we had to take because of a canceled cruise that went to St Peters berg. Nice ship, stores geared to high end travelers only. Necessities were very limited in the small shop with them and they were out of tooth paste and other items. The food selection in the buffet was OK but lacked variety. Specialty restaurants were not nearly as good as previous cruises. We have cruised on ...

Did more ships from Celebrity! Also with the grand old lady "Conny". Top. But the Apex was in one word "Fantastic". Tips: Have a drink on the carpet! Eden! Waiter "Raldon" in Normandie #136. Go to a show in the theater with the beautiful LED screen, or take a walk on the curves up and down walking/running track. Have a real swim in the big Pool, 22.8 mt ...

Amazing Cruise

This ship is amazing - can't say enough great things about it. Food was excellent, staff was great. The entertainment was so different and so enjoyable. Martini Bar, well what can I say - try the gangster martini. I would say it is going to be hard to beat this ship - I was in Aqua Class - with the infinity balcony - loved it. Sailed the British Isles - weather was too chilly to use the ...

Great Ship....

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

The Iberian cruise was on my wife's bucket list. Time, opportunity and availability collided and we booked the cruise about five months from the sailing date. Barcelona aside, I wasn't knocked out by any of the ports. My wife on the other hand enjoyed every stop. I detest ship sponsored-tours. The crowded, cramped busses and hordes of people along with the simply stupid high prices generally ...

This was our eighth cruise overall and third with X. We chose this mainly for the itinerary. Embarkation, disembarkation and ship transfers were very smooth and well executed. We were on Silhouette a couple of years ago and loved The Hideaway so this time we booked on the forward slant, starboard deck 7. It was roomy for just the two of us with a very comfortable mattress and plenty of ...
