This cruise on Celebrity Infinity was part of a package arranged to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. Having been on Celebrity Eclipse in the Caribbean in 2017 we expected a really nice ship and the Infinity lived up to our expectations. Everything was first class from the silky smooth check-in, our cabin to the entertainment. The unrestricted views from cabin were ...
We have been sailing Celebrity Cruise lines for 15 years. Our most recent trip was on Celebrity Solstice our of Seattle, Washington to Alaska on June 29th, 2018. Overall the we had a wonderful time at all the ports and had beautiful weather, which is always a gamble in Alaska. Captain Tasos was is by far the best Captain of any ship/cruise line I have been on. He had an amazing sense of humor ...
We compared lots of Alaska cruise offerings and decided on Celebrity. We are so glad we did! DO NOT WAIT to book, book early and now. The reason? If you wait too long to book, they'll assign you to a room. I don't recommend letting someone else pick your room EVER because we were given an obstructed balcony. Nowhere in the booking process did it say, "There's a chance you'll receive an obstructed ...
We travelled with 3 seniors in their 70s, my 46 year old daughter and her 14 and 12 year old kids. We had an outstanding experience. The staff was very helpful and always had a smile . Our cabin steward Cliff was a genie. We rarely saw him but even if we left our cabin for a few minutes, we returned to find things tidied up and our bedspread perfectly smoothed. We went to the entertainment 5 ...
Having been on 12 cruises I can definitively say that this ship did not live up to the hype of Celebrity Cruise Lines. I know it is going into dry dock soon for a major upgrade but man, the wear and tear is visible everywhere and the staff are largely untrained and do not speak good English. There were a few very good people working on board who could hold a conversation but many you had to ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary in that it both departed and returned to Seattle. We were generally pleased with the cruise. But there were a few things that were off-putting.
Our cabin service and the main dining room wait staff was excellent as was the food quality and food choices. The ship, including our cabin and all the public areas, was spotless. On the down side, the ...
Spent three days in Vancouver prior to the cruise. Embarkation was a nightmare, long queues. Carried our own bags when leaving therefore disembarkation went smoothly.
The ship is tired looking, cabin was clean although the curtains, bed valance were torn. Bathroom had a musty smell which was sorted by our cleaner.
Dining room was fine, great service and food was ok, ate here for breakfast ...
We choose this cruise as it was the best way to see Alaska. The trip was amazing, seeing the Glacier at Hubbard was something very special we will never forget.
we loved the towns we stopped in and would like to visit these places again to spend more time there.
The service on the boat was excellent and our and our room attendant Amett was lovely and very helpful. Food on board was great, ...
I would't suggest this trip for young people. Most activities on the ship was boring ..only good part was buffet. By end of the trip i checked my bank account and noticed that they took 260$ US for tips ! it was shocking because I wasn't aware of this charge and gave tips separately for service. Also AC in my cabin didn't work during 24 hr and they were fixing it whole day but they could't so we ...
Just got back from a wonderful Alaska cruise.Never been or wanted to do cruising but wanted to see Alaska so decided to go for it,what a fabulous trip!! From check in too disembarkation was so smooth ,have to just mention the taxi queues are horrendous once you get off the ship.
The ship was called Infinity what a wonderful comfortable ship,my husband and I had a balcony cabin which had plenty ...
