Carnival Review
Our first cruise and I said to my wife, trying to explain the level of failure and the level of care regarding the buffet quality is basically saying if Walmart had a buffet, this would have been it, and Luby’s would probably still have given them a run and still lost. The food was absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever seen attempted to be put as meals, and that’s ...
TL/DR: Enjoyable week on Carnival Horizon, with pros being cruise director, Paradise Beach Club, Production shows, and free food; Cons: buffet food, MDR food, and guests can get rowdy/loud/rude, especially as the week goes on.
My wife, daughter and friend (all adults) went on the 6 night Western Caribbean sailing on Horizon out of Miami in March. Overall, we enjoyed the cruise, but left the ...
My parents and I have been cruising with carnival now for quite a few years all 3 of us being platinum members this was my 26th cruise and my parents 35th now seeing carnival has started to nickel and dime for every single little thing a lot has changed from our perspective and you’d think the last people you’d want to short are your loyal guests who are frequent return cruisers highly considering ...
The steak house was fantastic little pricey but worth it the buffet needs work. Went on 2 excursions 1st too the myan ruins lots of walking and climbing so if you have back or leg issues I don't recommend, 2 vip Beach trip well worth the money food and staffing just fantastic. Spa was great got the body scrub and massage lasted 50 minutes. Karaoke was a blast everyone there was very supportive of ...
We like short cruises and live in South Florida, so Carnival has been a great value for us. We especially liked Carnival Conquest, Key West-Cozumel four (4) day. Carnival has pretty much eliminated this itinerary for 2024 since we don't like Nassau there wasn't much to choose from, so we selected this Carnival Sunrise cruise from Miami to Cozumel. From the get-go things didn't go well. We ...
My steward was amazing, but I will never cruise again. I feel like we spent our entire vacation waiting in lines. Whether it be waiting for a drink, waiting for food, waiting to get off the ship, waiting for an elevator, waiting in line for our excursion, or waiting in a line to get back to the ship/ on the ship after an extremely short excursion… I feel that my money would have been better spent ...
Shows this cruise because it fit my schedule and the price was reasonable. However, the food at the Monet dining room. Very good food I give the food at the Monet dining room along with the service five stars.
The ship does show its age it’s got rusted out parts on the ship, we can see holes nothing would make it see worthy.
The reason why I will never go on Carnival again is because they ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and length of cruise. I had been on a Carnival ship years ago and had a great experience. This cruise started off with a dirty stateroom that clearly had not been vacuumed. Crumbs and fingernails all over the floor and the desk area was sticky and dirty, as was the opening around the window. In addition, we had a non-functioning remote control and they ...
Here is our honest, detailed review!
We were on the Carnival Celebration from February 25 - March 3, 2024. We are a 30 year old married couple from Canada who traveled just the two of us. This is our fifth cruise together and second Carnival cruise (we have cruised Norwegian twice and MSC once).
Embarkation
Embarkation was very smooth. There was no waiting around. We were curb to ship in ...
Having cruised on the original Excel class ship (Mardi Gras) in 2022, we were looking forward to sailing on the Celebration, expecting similar entertainment quality and value.
We got a big shock concerning the entertainment offerings shortly after departing. The shows featured at the center stage (the three-deck atrium) were very lackluster in comparison. There may have been a technical issue ...
