I took a gamble on this trip and booked a cabin that was forward and on a higher deck of the ship than I normally would go. I would say that we lucked out on the Panorama deck. We were on the top floor of the atrium elevators and the forward elevators have 6 elevators instead of the 4 shared mid-ship and aft. I have to say location wise the room was perfect, we could walk straight out onto the pool deck moving aft, and onto an open air deck moving forward to the front of the ship as well. The cabin itself is rated for up to 5 people...and it shows. We had chips in the bathroom counter, scuffs and marks on the furniture (there was a cigarette burn in the chair) and obvious non-matching tile work in the bathroom (some of the grout was coming up towards the end of the trip). There was also a ring in the toilet and it smelled heavily of urine each time we opened the lid. We were given one glass to use in the restroom for 3 people (our steward was not the best). The medicine cabinet also would not close unless you gave it a decent shove. Lots of pale green and pink colors. The bedding in the room has been updated and was comfortable. We had multiple light bulbs out in the cabin and several had been replaced with a different color florescent bulbs than had been previously installed. The room also still has the old fashion tube TV (a Zenith Concierge to be exact), but didn't make much of a difference, because the satellite service was out on the ship for most of the cruise (bouncing DirectTV logo...the last night we didn't even get that, just got snow) but oddly enough the Carnival channels came in just fine. We were able to utilize the interactive system to check our sail & sign accounts without issue. As a side note, the image that carnival has on their website for this category cabin is not an image of what the cabin actually looks like.

Great Old Gal Romansky1
Our room was clean and comfortable. Ni, our steward was very nice and kind to us and our daughter. It was the perfect room for having a two year old with us as it has a trundle bed and not a 3rd bunk. The trundle bed was great. Some areas of the room show the age of the ship, but overall everything was good. Only recommendation is they need more shelves in the closet. There are three closets spaces and I didn't need all that hanging space, but rather could have used more shelf space.

Cabin was clean. It's what we expected from a cruise ship cabin on somewhat of an older ship. It met our needs.

The cabin was clean. The steward was attentive. It was convenient to the pool, elevators, and lido.

The cabin was good, We don't spend a lot of time there. It had plenty of room for the 2 of us. Would like to have a refrigerator though. It's nice for snacks, or fruit.

We were in Cabin 1319. Only issue was that when we were in port, everyone had to pass our room to get off the ship. It was a little noisy if you wanted to sleep in.

We had an interior cabin with two beds together and two top bunks. It was small but cozy and the beds were very comfortable. I slept great every night!! Plenty of room for the four of us. Bathroom was also plenty big enough!
