Carnival Vancouver Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

The Legend was amazing

This wa an anniversary cruise. I chose it because Hawaii was a destination I've always wanted to visit, and this was a journey cruise. I was not disappointed. Embarkation was very smooth. Because of my Loyalty Status, I was able to jump lines, but it still seemed to go pretty quickly. Debarkation was smooth. We had an excursion to the USS Missouri, so we were among the first off the ship. Our ...

Been on the legend several times. Went to Hawaii from Vancouver. Was not impressed with all the walking to get on the ship. The ship it self is very easy to get around. The food could have been better but it wasn't bad. The cruise director is good she is very entertaining and the shows weren't bad either. There was a girl at customer service desk I think her name was Katherina, she only got on ...

A pleasant "journey" cruise to Hawaii

This was our 10th Carnival cruise and first time on the Legend and yes...the ships decor is a bit off and the ship could use some freshing up, but otherwise it was a very enjoyable cruise with the new journey concept..more to that later. Getting on the ship in Vancouver was a breeze..no issues..were on the ship within an hour. Since this was a Hawaiian cruise during our 10 days on the ship we ...

Fun trip but a lot of early season issues!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Carnival Legend

First trip of the Alaskan season, couldn't pass up how cheap it was compared to the weeks to follow. Trip started out rough, arrived to port on time then had to wait in customs once i had cleared it with a few hundred people only to have the people after we arrived go straight on the ship while we waited. The line to get sail and sign cards was not a well oiled machine but a very unorganized line. ...

I've only been on 6 cruises in my life (age 63), dating back to the 1980's, including a previous Alaska cruise on the NCL Jewel in 2013 and two almost back-to-back western Caribbean trips on the NCL Jade in 2016. I picked this cruise for the following reasons: 1) left from Vancouver and returned to Seattle, 2) the extra day, and 3) great price. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites in ...

Most disappointing cruise ever

This will be lengthy but I just have to "vent". We were in the terminal almost ready for customs. Carnival personnel informed us we had to step aside and have our liquor bottles stamped. We had already read that we were entitled to one bottle of wine each in our carry on. My husband and I each had one. People ahead of us had wine and some soft drinks. The wine and soft drinks were all ...

The boarding process was the worst seen to date. We were on this very same cruise last year and the boarding process went well. We remembered none of the total kayos of this trip. What happened? It’s obvious the scheduled boarding times mean nothing. I believe all the passengers were there at 1100 ready to go along with all the passengers from another company were there as well. The lines ...

Really enjoyed our stay on the Legend. Staff was amazing, really appreciate all the hard working people. She's an older ship but met all our needs. Couldn't believe the space in the bathroom, best on any cruise to date. I had no problem with the decor as I've read in other reviews. Great food and drinks - dining room was great, happy with the offering on the buffet, wish chopsticks was ...

The undercover, secret menu was very good...the other food was so so

The crew was very pleasant. We discovered the "undercover" secret menu that the dining room keeps hidden away. This way.....your food is not mass produced. Just have to order it a day in advance at the dining room check in podium. Way better than the regular menu. I learned about this from another cruise critic member. The casino was average. The cabin was average. the ship was clean. ...
