The cabins are well maintained. Our steward came in twice a day, when we were at breakfast and dinner. She always made us an animal out of the towels and kept our room neat and orderly. We never had to ask for anything.

As I had not been on a cruise before and had no idea about rooms or decks I let the Virgin staff book my cabin I found out was on level 2 and was worried about being so low down on the ship again I had nothing to worry about my room had a large window it was nice and quiet and to be honest I was never in my room I was always out doing something the only time your in your room is to shower and go to sleep, but next time I'm going to book a balcony suite just because my husband will be coming on the next cruise and he wants a balcony

Pros & Cons awood

Cabin clean and quite spacious. Cabin attendants excellent. Room service good.
Television channels dreadful choice and all American focused. No free wi-fi and diabolical mobile coverage.

1st Cruise Nutmeg10

Room was a good size, clean. Room Steward was great. Left us towel animals every night with chocolates on our pillow. You will not need an alarm clock as you know when you are docking as the anchors are right under you and you can hear and feel them coming out at port.

Disappointed cstockford

Nice upgrade as an alternative to balcony pricing.

STATEROOMS: Carnival staterooms are reportedly 40% larger. Don't underestimate the value of this, particularly if you choose inside, oceanview, or balcony accommodations. In our "guaranty" category (the cheapest oceanview rate), we had a spacious layout in which we could very comfortably walk around BOTH sides of the bed, dine at the table AND sit on the leathery sofa AND write at the desk AND access the fridge/mini-bar without bumping into each other or having to move aside to allow another to pass. This is huge. Another "plus" was having 3 separate closets (most lines give 2) as well as drawers and shelves. And a comfortably sized bathroom; 2 ppl could use the space together if so inclined. Interactive TV, frosty A/C, beautiful wood cabinetry, incredibly comfortable beds, pillows, blankets and linens. Housekeeping was impeccable.

We booked a 3-person cabin for myself and my husband and my 20-year old son. It was bigger than I thought for 3 people. The bathroom was kind of small, but overall we we liked our room.

Not what we expected 08DesertRat

Great window in the Ocean View class. We could put pillows in and sit.
Tons of closet space.
Noisy hallway (because of rude people)
Amazing cabin stewards--room ALWAYS clean and neat.
Instant and stable hot water in the showers.
Only 1 electrical outlet was a challenge for us.
Minibar stocked but fridge not very cold.

Cabin 1240 in a very quiet location, nice size window, could do with more closet hangers, plenty of room with 2 adults and 2 kids in it. Tv needs updating. But overall not a bad cabin if wanting quiet time.

Our outside cabin was roomy and comfortable. Our cabin steward could not have been better. Not only did he provide excellent service, but he was creative way beyond the norm. Of course, he kept the room spotless, every day he provided towel animals, but he also, involved a stuffed toy (Scooby Doo) we had with us in various cute and funny "scenes" he created on a daily basis, and he always took the time to show a genuine interest in how our day was going regardless of how busy he was.

#1237, Riviera Deck. Cabin was fine for our needs. Pullman above the single sofa for the 2 kids. Twins pushed together as a king for my wife and I. Cabin pretty much as expected. We had enough space for our clothes (and we brought a lot). Bathroom was larger enough. It was a challenge storing our suitcases, but we we had 8 of them! Would recommend and book this cabin again. Good location (far enough from elevators, low traffic area and close to deck zero for port days.

A nice Get Away TipsyTess
We did enjoy our room but think next time we will upgrade to balcony but are a bit worried the people next to us are smokers and we would not be able to sit outside. It would be nice if one side of the ship is for non smokers.

OV 1st floor cabin 1324. Sometimes at night it sounded as if heavy machinery was operating on the floor under us. Almost like a big hydraulic press. Not every night, and it would only go on for 10-15 minutes around 11:30p-12:00a. Laundry facilities on the floor were constantly in use byt what appeared to be the same family most every single night. Sometimes had to go all the way to deck 7 just to iron a shirt.

Cabin 1445: Must be directly over an engine or something because everytime the ship was docking it was like an earthquake. Quiet location, good closet space, comfortable bed. Connects to room 1449.

WE had an oceanview room on riviera deck. Alittle noisey a couple of nights. Room size was good for 3 in a room.

Plenty of storage room, loved the robes, fairly spacious-room to move, mimi bar came in handy, closets not good for long dresses(shelf on bottom)

Front of boat on 1st floor was very loud with the waves and the whole cabin shook each time the boat hit a wave.
