Very clean and well kept. TV's are very old and outdated. "Flat screen TV's are the way it should have been like on other cruise lines, but we still had the old fashion type TV.

We chose an interior cabin and were on the lowest level. The advantages to this are: 1) It's dark, 2) It's relatively quiet, 3) Only a floor away from the disembarkation and 4) We always walked and took the stairs so I felt more justified in eating more of the good food. The bed was firm, just the way I like it and comfortable. The cabin was small but still roomy enough for us. It would have helped to have more outlets or an extension cord. Cabin steward, Carlos, did a great job of serving us.

Heard the anchors going down early in the mornings we arrived in ports, but didn't bother us. Did not get seasick, boat didn't rock much on Deck 1, fairly quiet in hallway, as this location is close to the end of the hallway. Room got a bit hot at night, even with AC all the way down, not bad though. Hairdryer on/off switch broken so you have to hold your finger down on the button the whole time you dry your hair.

Excellent size for one or two travelers, but only one bed and a convertable sofa. Lot's of banging noise from the sea, but it didn't bother me.

Carnival Valor Deck 1 room 1465 inside cabin. VERY loud. Not for those that want to sleep alot. However, when getting back on the ship from being in port, it was great to only go up one flight from deck 0, no lines for the elevators etc.

Had really 2 rooms, despite the floor plan of bunk beds. Heard the waves crashing against the boat.

2462 [aft/port] - This was a 1A that has been converted to a 6B. It's very spacious, especially for one person. There's a queen bed that faces one of the two windows. There's a large desk/vanity with a stool, two chairs and an oval table. There are also two night tables with reading lamps. Between the closets, shelf space and drawers I had more than enough room to unpack everything. There is also ample shelf space in the bathroom. There is a constant vibration however; and sometimes this can be quite strong and/or loud. I'm a morning person so I didn't mind being woken up; but if you like to sleep late, this might be a problem.
