My teenagers ,wife and I were on this cruise, I had been doing some review reading about the ship after its dry dock this fall.
I started to get a little worried about the posts on here as to the cleanliness and service on this ship.
Well I assure you all that this problem has been dealt with, this was probably the cleanest ship I have been on.
The service was top notch ( except pit boss was a ...
I have been on 5 cruises. This was the WORST cruise I have been on. To start with the food was terrible I had to order room service everyday to get a decent meal that consist of BLT sandwich and chips. Fine dining took at least 1 hour to get our food and when we did get it was cold and under cooked. I understand that some people like steak med rare but when you order chicken and blood is running ...
As a "Diamond" member, I arrived at the port at about 11:30, and went directly through the embarkation procedure, and aboard the ship in about 20 minutes. I've always found the Port of Tampa to do an excellent job, whether you're a "first timer", or a Diamond member.
As usual, the Lido deck was a bit crowded on embarkation day, with many folks dragging their suitcases around with them, while ...
Enjoyed a 7 night cruise from Tampa to Costa Maya, Belize, Honduras, Grand Cayman and two at sea days over New Year's Eve. Apparently this ship was recently renovated -- frankly it was quite gaudy and did not give a good first impression. The food was fine - nothing special - and the ports of call were good. However what made this a good vacation was the crew. They were polite, upbeat and frankly ...
Had just gotten back from the reposition on Splendor San Juan to Miami on 9th of Nov, so wasn't expecting to take another cruise on 4th of Dec. Saw a terrific rate so I booked Paradise. Just a 4 nighter, but have wanted to try out Fantasy class for a while. Heard mixed reviews about Paradise, so wasn't sure what to expect. Never been disappointed on any of the 4 previous Carnival cruises and sure ...
The cruise was fun from the moment we embarked until we reluctantly walked off the ship. -- We got the $49 Faster To The Fun (FTTF) so embarkation was a breeze and our room was ready. Best $50 ever spent. We went directly to the buffet and Mongolian wok and had a VERY delicious lunch. Started the cruise on a full, satisfied stomach. Kids went to the O2 club where they met other kids their age 16+ ...
Took Christmas cruise out of Tampa. 2nd Carnival and 3rd total cruise. 58 year old couple.
Overall, trip was excellent.
Pros:
Room kept clean. Spent most time in Adult section on aft deck. Crew kept decks clear of used glasses, etc. and were good about making the rounds checking to see if you needed a drink.
Buffet area was kept clear of used dishes. Anytime dining did not wait too long, but ...
This was our family of four's second cruise. I absolutely love the Pride! I would recommend this to anyone. The new 2.0 upgrades are awesome. I love Guy's Burgers and the Burrito bar. Our kids loved the new water slide and splash park. We loved all the shows and comedy. It was a wonderful vacation for our family of four. ...
I recently cruised aboard the Carnival Pride for a 7 day cruise. I had been on the Pride last year and was pleasantly surprised with the updates added since. Guy Fieri's Burger Joint and Blue Iguana Café were my favorite upgrades. There were several other food updates and they were all good. Add in the new waterpark/slides and Dive-In Movie screen as well as the new Serenity Deck and the cruise ...
We went on the Pride shortly after coming out of dry-dock and boarded in Tampa, we have gone out of this port a couple of times before and had no problem on embarkation, the VIP check in is smooth and prompt. This Sunday we arrived about 10 AM and had to wait for several hours since there had been heavy fog that night and the ship could not dock on time, we finally got aboard around 2 PM and as ...
