I am generally not one to write reviews but I read a few negative reviews about the Pride, specifically the crew that I felt compelled to put my 2 cents in.
I have been on 15 cruises (5 Carnival) and must say that the crew of the Pride is one of the friendliest of them all (Carnival cruises that is). Always smiling, greeting you as you pass by and just all around friendly.

I thought the boarding process and embarkation in Tampa was pretty good. We really loved the new restaurants; Guys Burgers, Blue Iguana and especially the Sushi restaurant. Really liked the Red Frog Pub. I was surprised the EA Sports Bar was not very crowded the entire cruise (other than Super Bowl Sunday).

We've cruised a total of 5 times, this being our 4th with Carnival. Our second time out of Tampa, also the second on a Spirit Class ship (last time was the Legend, on an identical itinerary). Overall, a very nice trip!

I traveled with my sister, her husband and my daughter. We have all cruised before on Carnival ships.
1. Do not stay in Stateroom 1194. If you are already assigned to this stateroom, change it. It is right over the gangway area and in the middle of the night, doors start slamming. I had to call Guest Service three nights. They did get the slamming to stop, but this ruined three nights sleep.
