After family problems we decided to take grandchildren on this cruise (from hell) unable to use half cabin due to upper bunk being down, food disgusting same every day children can't eat kids food unless you register them to eat it. Well this is my third time using the port of Tampa for Carnival cruise. From my location the Port of Tampa is only 1 hour and 55 minutes away, which is the best part of the location of the terminal. With that being said!!!

This was our first cruise ever! I guess you learn as you go! We found the food to be plentiful and very good! We were told by other cruisers that it did not compare to other ships but we found it very enjoyable! We did not take our teenagers but we're told that there were not enough activities for kids. The second sailing since the ship was dry docked for cleanup. Ship was very clean even though it is an older ship. Spa services were great. Dinner service was excellent. All other services met or exceeded expectations.

The crew of the Paradise seem to work hard, but they fall short. Our cabin steward, Wayan, did a fine job for us. Best cruise I've been on! Fourteen days was perfect for us. The Pride was making its way back to Baltimore and many of the passengers were from Maryland and wanted to travel on her return home.
