Carnival Tampa Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

After family problems we decided to take grandchildren on this cruise (from hell) unable to use half cabin due to upper bunk being down, food disgusting same every day children can't eat kids food unless you register them to eat it. Had to wait for 20-30 mins for elevators and many times not working or full of staff. Toilets nearest buffet. Restaurant no soap whole cries, no hand sanitiser at ...

Carnival Paradise Well this is my third time using the port of Tampa for Carnival cruise. From my location the Port of Tampa is only 1 hour and 55 minutes away, which is the best part of the location of the terminal. With that being said!!! I booked the cruise and decided this time I would let them pick the cabin. It took just under two weeks for them to let me know were my cabin was. It ...

First Cruise

This was our first cruise ever! I guess you learn as you go! We found the food to be plentiful and very good! We were told by other cruisers that it did not compare to other ships but we found it very enjoyable! We did not take our teenagers but we're told that there were not enough activities for kids. However we thoroughly enjoyed our first experience. Our room was very clean and our steward ...

Great service and food

The second sailing since the ship was dry docked for cleanup. Ship was very clean even though it is an older ship. Spa services were great. Dinner service was excellent. All other services met or exceeded expectations. Tenders to Grand Cayman were limited and shortened an already short day. Cozumel is not recommended as a destination--even though I have enjoyed it several times in the ...

So So Cruise with Lousy Food

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Paradise

The crew of the Paradise seem to work hard, but they fall short. Our cabin steward, Wayan, did a fine job for us. Our little 1A cabin on the Riviera Deck was nice enough and had enough room for the Two of us. One of the big problems aboard the Paradise is the food. In a word, it was LOUSY. The first meal or two, I just assumed that they had a bad night. I was wrong. The food is lousy all ...

Not Up To Par

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed in this ship. It's been 7 years since my last cruise with Carnival and it seems as though things have changed since then. I was sad to see that the food in the dining was not as good and that you now have to pay for a decent steak. The only night we enjoyed the food was on lobster/ formal night. I also noticed that there was no captains cocktail party for ...

Wow, what a fun time from the moment we arrived at the dock. We had our check-in in a very timely manner & up the gang way to be greeted by many of the crew. Since we had checked our luggage, we went right to lunch. After lunch we walked around the ship checking our all the new additions. Then we went to our cabin & our luggage was there , so we unpacked before we went up on deck to watch us ...

Bring the Pride home in 2015

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Pride

Best cruise I've been on! Fourteen days was perfect for us. The Pride was making its way back to Baltimore and many of the passengers were from Maryland and wanted to travel on her return home. There were only 40 children onboard which made the whole ship adult friendly. We were told the average age of cruisers was 62. The only bad part was there was no late night life aboard, the night club ...

When we first saw this cruise listed, we were delighted that the Pride was coming back to Baltimore. We'd never done more than 7 days so the idea of 14 days was appealing. All of the ports except Aruba, were new to us; that was an added incentive. We booked last April and patiently waited. After an overnight Amtrak trip from Baltimore, we spent the night in Tampa and headed for the ship. Boarding ...

This was my first time Cruise with Carnival and it was great. I have cruised with Princess, Holland America, Royal Caribbean. I loved each one. This was my first time to book and travel on my own and I had no problems with anything. The staff were great the food was great, the entertainment was awesome. I'm looking forward to planning my next holiday. The ship was the perfect size for ...
