Horrible & Nasty Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Paradise

I have sailed on four different cruise lines of a total of over 10 cruises. This is was my first time sailing Carnival. I knew going in the ship was older (Paradise). Since I booked last minute, I got a cabin on deck 4 the last room before the employees only door in the very back. So that being said, no hallway runners or no yelling fellow passengers (Positive). Being that the ship was small, ...

This was my first cruise and I was afraid of sea sick as I do get motion sickness. Starting takings meds for it on Friday and again for the next three days and was fine. I did find that at the back of the boat was not where I wanted to be for very long. Since this was my first I did not know what expect. I had a wonderful time. I found that everyone and I mean everyone from the first person I saw ...

Having read the reviews on many websites, I was not sure what to expect when I boarded the Paradise for my recent cruise. While the ship is definitely one of the older ships and does not have the amenities of some of the newer ships, the Paradise is still a great ship. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and looking to go the extra mile for us. The reviews are correct as the ship does ...

Just got off of the Paradise, I was apprehensive about a smaller ship with no balconies but was surprised to find that the old ship was in great shape and found the dinning to be above Carnivals pretty good food and the entertainment above average! This was our 12th Carnival cruise and my 20th with all cruise lines, sure the ship is small and there is no surfing, hang gliding,or zip ...

This cruise exceeded our expectations although the ship is older it is well maintained and very clean. The staff our so friendly and helpful, the food fine and the entertainment good. A special mention to Donna Lin in the Atrium bar, very efficient smiles and acknowledged all her customers and never looked flustered she goes well beyond the call of duty. Oscar our waiter in he dining room and his ...

Very Disorganized, and Very Poor Service

Was really looking forward to this cruise but was extremely displeased with it overall as were my fellow travelers! Had Oceanview Upper 214. The hum of the motors drowned out other hallway sounds until last night when staff were very loud picking up luggage from hallways. The window was beyond dirty! Could barely see out of it because of lack of cleaning inside and out. We never figured out which ...

After family problems we decided to take grandchildren on this cruise (from hell) unable to use half cabin due to upper bunk being down, food disgusting same every day children can't eat kids food unless you register them to eat it. Had to wait for 20-30 mins for elevators and many times not working or full of staff. Toilets nearest buffet. Restaurant no soap whole cries, no hand sanitiser at ...

Carnival Paradise Well this is my third time using the port of Tampa for Carnival cruise. From my location the Port of Tampa is only 1 hour and 55 minutes away, which is the best part of the location of the terminal. With that being said!!! I booked the cruise and decided this time I would let them pick the cabin. It took just under two weeks for them to let me know were my cabin was. It ...

Great service and food

The second sailing since the ship was dry docked for cleanup. Ship was very clean even though it is an older ship. Spa services were great. Dinner service was excellent. All other services met or exceeded expectations. Tenders to Grand Cayman were limited and shortened an already short day. Cozumel is not recommended as a destination--even though I have enjoyed it several times in the ...

This was our first cruise ever! I guess you learn as you go! We found the food to be plentiful and very good! We were told by other cruisers that it did not compare to other ships but we found it very enjoyable! We did not take our teenagers but we're told that there were not enough activities for kids. However we thoroughly enjoyed our first experience. Our room was very clean and our steward ...
