Carnival Tampa Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Paradise

My family just disembarked a few hours ago so this information is quite fresh in my mind. It was a first cruise for my 14 & 11 year old children, but not for my wife & me... OVERALL -- It's a discount cruise line; you can't shop big box stores and expect boutique merchandise. Still, I'm not convinced at the moment that we got our money's worth. Only time will tell as the memories are ...

This was our first cruise so we really didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was great, the service was remarkable, and our stateroom steward- Oswald was simply amazingly! He was the only person we tipped extra because he always serviced our stateroom with a smile. He paid such close attention to detail and made our cabin very cozy! Our dining room staff was great as ...

We boarded the Carnival Paradise on June 13th in Tampa. The ship is outdated and our cabin was small even though we had an ocean view. One elevator did not worked during the whole cruise. The ship was very clean and the crew does their best to keep it out with the minimum tools they have. Circle C - this program was great and our son had a blast. His coach was very patient, nice and ...

We signed up for this cruise because all of our family could join. This board is old and doesn't have all the amenities that some of the newer shipts have. The boarding process went fine, the cabins were clean. We bought the "Cheers" drink program which we thought would be cheaper but the plan limits you to one drink at a time, so if you want to buy a round for your group you can't. I ended up ...

This is our third Carnival cruise, but never on one of their older ships. If you're not in a balcony, I guess it really doesn't matter. The ship was clean, but the dining rooms are depressing w/their low ceilings. Also, didn't like the seating assignment of a booth. Never had that before on 20 other ships. This is definitely a "blue collar" cruise. We only did it as we had access to a VERY ...

This is my 7th cruise, and 4th on Carnival. This is the best cruise yet! Some of my main issues with cruise food is that it can be blah. This cruise had tasty desserts (and yes, they had taste!!!) and the dinners were excellent. Even the on-board lunch, which is usually my least fav, was a WOW Italian buffet. The cabin stewards, wait staff, and entertainers and bar people all were very cordial ...

Returned from a 5 day cruise on Carnival Paradise in an outside view room M-82. Main deck. Balcony space is limited on this ship due to its age. Let me first say this cruise was a Bucket list completion. We have gone to the Gulf coast area for family vacations for many years driving over the sunshine bridge. During one of our drives over the bridge we saw the Paradise going under the bridge. ...

My husband and I came on this cruise for our honeymoon. Initial thought was they are very affordable. I booked a hotel with a customer service representative through carnival. We stayed at Doubletree Hilton hotel which was about 5-7 miles from the Tampa port. We were able to have our car parked on Hilton's secured parking deck for the duration of our trip which was much cheaper and safer than ...

I've been on five cruises, the past 3 on Carnival (2006, 2012, & 2015). All three have been on the 'Fantasy class' ships. For my family and I - it's a great way to spend a vacation. The kids are older now - 19 & 21 and we had all grown tired of the trip to the Florida panhandle - expensive beach condos and the fight for seating at expensive restaurants every night. First - ignore the ...
