Clean. Very comfortable beds. More than enough storage. Very nice to have the balcony for brightness and fresh air when you don't want to be on deck. Good shower too. Close to the central atrium but very quiet.

Cabin 7222

Was roomy enough for the two of us for the 12 night cruise. The choices on the TV are a bit limited but you don't go on a cruise to watch TV right. Comfortable bed and ample storage. There is a safe which is set by using the magnetic strip on any card. The mini bar is handy. Take a drink container for water. The desalinated water tastes fine! Better than Sydney water at any rate! I am a big man and I never had any issues with the shower etc.

Cabin 6283.
Reasonable size, though a little cramped with a 3 seater lounge, a small table and a lounge chair.
Bathroom was reasonable for a cruise ship with ample room to store our toiletries.
Plenty of hanging space and shelf space in wardrobes but do take your own coathangers as the ones provided are short in supply and of the sort where you unclip then from the rod and then have to slot them back into the actual hook.
Cabin has an opening door to balcony which doesn't stay open unless you jam something in to keep it open.
The chairs on the balcony are OK but do get a bit grubby from what I presume is soot from the vessel.
The beds (we split ours to two singles) were very comfortable and the pillows quite soft.

5140
Cabin 5140 is a balcony room and was very close to the stairs and the lifts mid ship. We felt it was close enough, but not too close to the lifts and so we did not experience any excessive noise. The bathroom was quite spacious, much roomier than we were expecting. The bed was very comfortable and we used the couch cushions to bolster us during the day as the bed was more comfy than the couch! And the view from the bed was amazing :) The room was a good size and we put our bags under the bed so as not to take up any room in the closets. The closet space was ample for both of us. The only negative was that it was a long way to go to find a coffee, and it would have been perfect having a kettle in the room. The balcony was not really private as downstairs on the deck could see us quite clearly. The balcony also was not quite wide enough, we had to climb over one another to get past. It was lovely having the door open all night and listening to ocean going by. This room was great and I have no trouble recommending it if you don't mind others seeing you on the balcony.

Empress Deck 6151, Cat 8C, balcony, forward, starboard; carbon copy of our previous cabins; plenty of shelf, closet, drawer and bathroom space to accommodate two. Old style television set whose remote had a mind of its own. This room is directly across from the Steward supply closet which we thought might create some noise issues, however the only time we ever heard activity was early in the morning but never so much as to disturb us. Only real issue with this room would be the placement; this cabin is recessed from the cabins forward of it preventing a clear view where the ship is headed. One cabin over, the mid-ship cabins are recessed deeper and give no blockage of the view of the aft of the ship. Balcony was standard size and fit 2 chairs (one reclining) and a small table. Because of the location of this cabin approximately 2 square feet of the deck was raised at a diagonal preventing use of that area other than perhaps to place the table on it. This wasnt a problem for us as we had enough room to lounge comfortably though going in and out of the cabin door did involve some dexterity.

Almost soundproof! We never heard our neighbors. Lots of closet/drawer space. Bathroom large for a ship with great shelves for toiletries. Sitting area had a couch, coffee table, bed very comfortable.

Comfortable place to spend the few hours you sleep. Close to aft elevator which take you directly to the Empire Main Dining Room. Nice balcony, if somewhat small, but sufficient to spend time relaxing.

It was one of the best values we could get: space, space and space. We had great cabin stewards and regarding tidiness no complaints... but the bed frame... Have your American Football equipement with you to avoid broken toes, knees, legs... many many sharp dangerous corners. A/C too breezy. Great locaction close to aft stairways. So short ways on the whole ship.

Quiet location one floor above the Empire restaurant. Closet was just right for 2 adults and 2 kids. Had twins converted into a king and a sofa/bed with an upper. Kids loved the upper and had to take turns.

Convenient to stairs and elevator. Good closets, roomy bathroom, nice balcony. Be sure to bring an extension cord as there is only one electrical outlet.

6297, balcony. I loved our cabin but I must say the door and space between the closets and bathroom seemed smaller than other cabins we've had. The balcony size was fine and the view was excellent. The room was quite large enough for me and my husband who are both of "ample" size.

Balcony cabin 6147 is way fore on the starboard side. That is to say, near the front of the ship on the right hand side. We had sunsets on the way south and sunrises on the way north. We were close to the elevators but never heard a sound. Cigarette smoke from a next door cabin would infiltrate through the vent, and we solved that dilemma by opening the cabin door and the balcony at the same time for a whoosh of fresh air. The cabin was clean and comfortable and everything was in working order. Plenty of storage and places to hang wet suits and towels. Cabin attendants kept everything well supplied, including ice and dry beach towels.

Plenty of space for two people. Private balcony was great, but no overhang since it was on the back of the ship. Balconies on the sides have a "ceiling", but the views cannot compare to what we had.
