Carnival Southern Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

A monstrosity highlighted by bad food

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Celebration

An 8 day cruise to 3 islands sounded like the perfect trip, and Aruba, Bonaire and Curacoa didn't disappoint. But the Carnival Celebration missed the mark completely. Let's start off with the amount of people on the ship....over 6,000 passengers! To handle that amount of hungry mouths takes a lot of work and planning. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of food, but quantity overtook quality ...

Miami terminal is a mess and chaotic. Boarded with a lot of people yelling that PA system told Platinum to board, but agents wouldn't let us. Guests became unruly. Platinum status is supposed to have baggage priority. We did not receive our luggage until after 7:00 that evening and that was with us going to desk twice to complain. Guests were either new cruisers or rude. No one paid ...

Fascination of a First Time Cruiser

Since I was a first time cruiser, my daughter-in-law and son chose the itinerary for the family. I was in awe of how many different people from all walks of life I was meeting. The ship seemed so huge to me. I really appreciated getting a pamphlet of all the different options of entertainment, restaurants, etc. that was scheduled for each day and was left in the cabin. Our cabin attendant was ...

My family chose this ship. All of the restaurants and food stations was good. I can honestly say that! We was told there is over a thousand employees. They ALL did an phenomenal job keeping the whole ship spotless and catering to passengers needs.. This cruise ship is truthfully family orientated. They cater to children astonishingly. The musical performances was breathtaking. I felt like I was ...

This was a "replacement" of a Mexican Riviera cruise that was cancelled during the pandemic. We chose Carnival's newest ship and a destination (Southern Caribbean) that we had never been to. It is a gorgeous ship but I was appalled to see nearly every step of the outside stairways of the upper decks cracked, bubbled, or broken. My guess is that Carnival is suing the contractor that did these, ...

Carnival can do better

As one other reviewer stated, the ship isn't even a year old and it's already in need of repairs. The Lido deck stairs are falling apart. The adhesive that was used cannot tolerate the heat and it just melts and splits. They actually used duck tape to hold the stairs together. If I was one that carries a cell phone I would have taken a picture! Someone is going to trip on those stairs. Do I hear ...

We chose this cruise because we were not thrilled with our last Royal Caribbean cruise, and we loved the stops (we hadn't been to any of them before), plus we could put all five us in a room together for a reasonable cost. It was our first Carnival Cruise (we had done Princess and Royal Caribbean before). Embarkation was extremely easy and quick. We left our hotel on the shuttle at 1015am. At ...

Second cruise with carnival, embarkation easy, 90 mins from miami hilton Airport Hotel to sitting in the pig and anchor having our first margarita and bbq.. We had a window cabin on the first floor, was nervous as was right by the stairs and lift but we didn't hear any noises at all Entertainment was a bit hit and miss, the karaoke was deafening in noise and tone... the carnival rockband ...
