Carnival South Pacific Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Family Christmas Cruise

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Spirit

We chose to get away from the hustle & bustle of Christmas preparations and relax with the family (kids & grand-kids) on a Christmas cruise. The children went to kids club, some enjoyed it, some didn't. If you don't like lots of kids then this is not a cruise for you. There was plenty to do (if you want to) things like trivia, dance lessons, crafts, games, swimming, water slides, shows, parties. ...

Nice Christmas Cruise

The cruise was great, fantastic dining room staff and cabin Steward. Need more details given to FTTF passengers of where to go and what they are entitled to. Photographers were the biggest issue, not very good quality, too quick, out of focus, dirty equipment which left marks on photos, would have bought more if they were of any decent quality. Mare should be taken off the the islands to ...

I don’t want this to be read as a negative review, but there were things Carnival Australia could improve on. We cruised on Carnival Legend ex Sydney 17th Dec 2018 for 10 nights to Pacific Islands. This was our 11th cruise holiday (Cunard, 2xRoyal Caribbean, 2x Princess, MSC, 2x P&O Aust, P&O UK and Carnival Caribbean). So we have other cruises to compare this with. We were warned ...

Total Waste of money

My husband and I thought it to be a great idea to spend the Christmas holidays onboard a luxury cruise ship, Oh dear what a mistake. Forget luxury .It was a disaster right from the beginning with a filthy state room. The food was awful with mostly the same menu everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet. The dining room also seemed to have the same menu each night and certainly not to ...

Great Embarkation, no problems, straight in and treated like royalty. Good price cruise $76.65 per day. Great to have a priority for Water Shuttles. A NICE SURPRISE, at dinner time in the Empire Dinning Room, when it was “Show Time”, the music started (D’Amore”)but the singer wasn’t there so Dessi, the Maître D, started to sing. After a while a waiter helped her and when he couldn’t sing ...

First, I write this as a guy in my early 40s travelling with my partner and no kids. That should give you an idea of my perspective. We found this cruise through a Carnival promotion and we couldn't pass this up at the price. We didn't get to choose the cabin but we were given 5114, a balcony room closer to the front of the ship. The room was clean and well-presented, no complaints ...

Kids loved every aspect of this holiday as did I. The water slides were obviously a massive hit.. The water park great for my 6 yr old ASD boy.. Pools were pretty cold but no-one seemed to mind that as the spa just beside came to good use..especially after 10pm. Food FANTASTIC.. elegant dining night was a real treat for us. Icecream & Pizza on offer 24/7 was a dream come true for my 11 yr ...

Pleasingly Surprised

Saw an advertised “special deal” on Carnival - $749 for 8 nights so wanted to see if we would enjoy a longer cruise in possibly a different region with them. Food in restaurant, service and staff excellent. Ship was kept spotlessly clean. Cabin 4118 was spacious and our Cabin Steward, Ketut, maintained the room to a very high standard. He addressed us by name at all times, enquired about ...

Best holiday for a person on their own

I chose this cruise because it was sailing out of Sydney and I have always wanted to do that. It was also going to New Caledonia where I haven't been before. It was my first cruise experience and I was a little nervous about doing it on my own. It was the most social holiday I have had on my own. I must have spoken with 50 people at various times during the cruise. The overall experience was ...

We were offered a very good deal which included Balcony, airfares and $500 spending money at a travel agents mini expo otherwise we wouldn't have chosen to do this cruise. We found it very relaxing but wouldn't want to be on there during school holidays. Eat in the Dining room for breakfast and dinner, staff were fantastic and very talented - the nightly show in the dining room was sometimes ...
