So this was my 4th cruise.(all on carnival). I didn't really enjoy my first 3 cruises but my idea really wanted to go. I have been to the long Beach terminal on all 4 trips and never had an major issues with the staff until this trip. When arriving , I was surprised when told i had to drive offsite to downtown long Beach to park, ($80 prepaid btw), and take a shuttle back. This took about an hour ...

Great Service with Mediocre Experience

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

From the moment you board this cruise, you can still feel how truly old it is. First, it's the 21st century and I still have to print a boarding pass. The last time I printed any kind of ticket was like 10 years ago. As to the ship, what areas they may have updated in 2019 still feel a decade old, and everything just looks incomplete. The food throughout this cruise was mediocre at best. The ...

Carnival is still struggling to get things right

In an attempt to boost margins, they have cut out quite a few things and many things are out of order. Notables: • 3 Ice Cream Machines where out of order simultaneously • Guys Burgers no longer seems to use the hand cut fries (3rd cruise in a row, without them • Most of the burgers have sat out so long or are charred, you can only eat the "middle" (get two or three and throw the rest ...

3 day cruise from Sydney Australia. Food . Rubbish . Entertainment. Rubbish . Staff direction . Rubbish . Internet access . Ripoff . Nightlife . Rubbish . Only good thing we can say about this trip . Getting off the boat to go home . Carnival splendor. RUBBISH . I will never sail with this ship or Carnival again . Unorganised from go to end. Had better food in Macdonalds. My wife and I decided to try the 3 day cruise We didn’t know what to really expect. After disembarking we discussed and reflected in the fairest way I feel The staff were very hard working and the catering was managed to perfection .We did wonder how there were som many staff on board as many were from overseas. Pros: For disabled people it was quite functional The food ...

First & last cruise. Ship needs a deep clean & repairs in lots of areas. Horrible sewage smell! Extremely crowded to the point you could not enjoy yourself. Tried the hot tub but always full, even the “adult” only ones (kids everywhere). The pools are sitting pools not swimming & again seemed to always be packed. Food is made of very poor quality ingredients (that was not crawfish on the pasta or ...

My first time on a cruise and I picked Carnival legend. Had a balcony room. Paid for the cheers package wifi and gratuities all ahead of time. Just wanted to have a great vacation. I did have a great time. Enjoyed my “kiss on the lips” drinks at the bars. Was a regular on the second floor. Next time will just pay for my drinks not the package. I don’t drink that much. Entertainment was alright. ...

Our personal experience, on board, was bad. First, the ship is definitely showing its age. We witnessed a few floods in the cabins, but the lido deck has a lot of soft spots. The next issue was with the illnesses all over the boat. Even on day 2, members we already getting sick. By day 4, the captain started marking operational changes but more people continued to get sick. another ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Spirit

User Avatar

Actually the Spirit cruise chose us! My husband and I won the cruise through Windcreek casino. This was our first time sailing, it was not a wonderful experience at all. I fell and injured myself and the staff cared nothing about it, they just tried to clean up their mess, and charge me $125 to see a doctor at medic, before even being concerned about my injuries. I as really hurt, in fact, ...
