It was standard, beds were comfy. Balcony was dirty. The windows so stained you could barely see out (and that was AFTER they cleaned them)
The service overall on this cruise was brutal. You wait at the bar for a half hour for a drink.
Food, was "ok". Read entire member review >>
The cabin was very underwhelming, the drapes and carpet need immediate upgrades. My sink was clogging and draining slow. The best part of my room was the balcony because that is self explanatory, but I really do prefer my balcony over the water not over an area of the ship where guest actually walk below and can see me, this diminished my privacy greatly. To me the cabin or suite was actually just large enough for one person and would not have been comfortable for 2 people. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was spacious enough for 2...it did have the bunk beds in the wall..but they posed no problem...not sure I would want to put more than 2 in there though...enjoyed the balcony. Read entire member review >>
M256 was a great room! Looking aft from the balcony, all you see is ocean! So you have bit more privacy and a better view. Of course, it is at the end of a very long hallway, but it's worth it! Read entire member review >>
Ours was a balcony stateroom located in the very back of the ship. Because of its location it was quiet at night. The room had a nice comfortable bed and also had plenty of storage in the three closets and drawers under the dressing table. The lighting was adequate. One problem, unless you recognize it while looking around you will wonder where the AC control is located. It is on the ceiling. To get to it you have to kneel or stand on the bed which is an experience in itself. Once you find it the AC works fine. There was also a safe in one of the closets but could only be opened by one person. This was a problem when the one person able to open the safe was not available. The bathrooms were clean, but small. Adequate hot water at any time. One problem was fresh towels were brought to the room in the late afternoon. Read entire member review >>
We booked M253 and it was completely quiet. It is set up as a quad cabin which I should have paid more attention to when I booked. It has the wooden structures on both sides of the room which are the murphy beds. With only two of us, these beds took up space and next time I will make sure it is a double room, not a quad or a triple. No refrigerator on carnival in this class of ships which was a disappointment. I think most of us expect a fridge of some sort in a balcony room. That was my only gripe. The shower was larger than I expected. I loved the room and the balcony was so pleasureable. Read entire member review >>
