For Spring Break, we didn’t want to commit our entire 10-day break to a vacation, so we opted for the 6-day, double dose of Cabo cruise on the Miracle from Long Beach. What a fabulous decision! One of my kids decided to join my husband and I, so we had three people in an extended balcony (8223). Here are my thoughts and experiences:

We had flights for the day of the cruise ...
Went on this cruise with my family and it was a great experience! The decorations were AMAZING! I absolutely love the glass elevators and the Venetian Palace. The shows in the Venetian Palace were great, and had humor that never got old. It was my first cruise, so might just have low expectations, but it was great. Another great place was the Golden Olympian Restaurant. I wish I could remember the ...
ABOUT OUR PARTY: My husband and I, both in our 60's, have cruised on this ship twice before in 2010 and 2012 when it was still the "Destiny." We were eager to see how the refurb changed the ship and to experience the Port of Charleston. This was a five-day cruise visiting Nassau and Half Moon Cay. We cruised with our daughter, her husband, and our 8 and 10-year-old grandchildren.
THE NIGHT ...
I was in different room and still had the best room steward, Terrian again. He saw to my needs and was always there to help anyone who had any needs. He was constantly working at all diffenent hours. I was more aware of ship layout and was able to enjoy even more activities this time around. Carnival to me is a great cruise line (I have friends that sail other lines that are usually ...
It had been 25 years since I had been on a cruise. I was a little afraid of getting sea sick. The boat did rock quite a bit leaving port, but once out in open/deep water, it was "smooth sailing". I can not get over how accommodating the entire staff was. Almost constantly asking if we needed anything. Waiting on our every need. Constantly cleaning the ship. The cruise director, Lei Lei, was ...
I've been crusing since the mid 90, mostly with Carnival, NCL or RCCL. I've been on old ships, new ships, I was even on the Tropical when it was 50 years old, and I have never had a cruise like this.
First let me say I'm not going to tell you everything yet because I'm still trying to give Carnival time to fix things, but each day without contact justs makes it worse.
I don't know ...
I been on several cruises with carnival, I have not had a worse experience than the one I’m on now. The guys burger joint everybody standing in one line where there should be two lines going on each side nobody’s there to direct anyone So you got 100 people standing on one side for a burger. The piece of line was absolutely ridiculous room service is no longer free they are charging you, ...
Back on board after 2 year hiatus! So
Happy with the overall experience. I booked deck 7, room 7349 which is a large balcony with a nice configuration. Our cabin steward was Dennis. I tipped him up front and then after. Only asked him for ice!
The ship was in great shape overall.
We had anytime dining and only went there the last night. Ordered steak and lobster, excellent!
We had ...
The port in Jacksonville was very easy to find and to get a park. So much better than New Orleans. No homeless people hanging out like New Orleans. The Embarking and Disembarking the ship was total chaos! We had verifly app and had a passport. We didn't get out of there until 11:30 a.m.! Having a passport did help some, but not much. Embarking and Disembarking was so much better on Carnival ...
This was one of our worst cruises, of our 26 cruises on Carnival. Embarkation was a Zoo! As Platinum, we were in group “A01” for boarding (first after Diamond and Suites). However, the staff called A01, followed by the next FIVE groups within a minute. This caused a mad rush for the entry stations. When we got onboard, we went directly to our Muster Station, as request by staff. However, no ...
