In all fairness, let me preface this by saying this is my first cruise since the pandemic. I was expecting to have to wear my mask most of the time. I didn't even have to wear it once.
PROs:
1. Wonderful guests. The guests were awesome. Met a lot of people and had a great time with them.
That's right. There's literally one PRO.
CONs:
1. RUDEST STAFF I've ever encountered. Every ...
Where do I start. Many are repeats from past trips but, with no changes from past Carnival trips, it is obvious these common complaints are not a priority to the company.
First and foremost, this ship has raw sewage leaks throughout. Certain hallways had the nauseating smell the entire cruise. Other areas seemed to have an intermittent smell. Either way it is disgusting. 100s of complaints and ...
And that's a good thing. While Carnival is the Fun Ship, some have written that it was too much. I disagree. All in all, it was one of the better ships (of more than 10) that I have sailed and my first Carnival in over 10 years (switched from RC due to the pricing and itinerary). The 2 days at sea allowed us to enjoy the ship and we did.
Ocean view cabin (M202) was more than adequate with the ...
Carnival is there to take your money but not there to stand by their service. The boat was in poor condition like our phone didn’t work and the shower door didn’t close. They won’t refund money easily but take it fast. Also people with disabilities have a rude awakening. I can’t even get ahold of them to ask for a refund .Lesson learn I have a list of things go wrong. Couldn’t go to dining room ...
We have taken a total of 11 cruises, both nearby and all around the world. This was our 4th with Carnival and will most likely be our last. For a short 3 to 8 day getaway, we liked the 3 hour drive to Galveston for boarding, but thankfully Princess and another line are servicing that area now. Carnival food was terrible food at the buffet, dining room, and I paid $84 extra at the steak restaurant ...
I'm a usual cruiser, Gold level and was disappointed on this cruise. I have always promoted the fun vibe and so many features for kids and teens. This ship was smaller but features I'm used to seeing were not occurring such as the towel folding in rooms. Only one bar open mist of the time for the trip so kids had to compete with enebriated adults to get sodas. My last complaint was the sewage ...
First time on a carnival cruise...
Went on a 4 night cruise to the bahamas. First thing I want to bring to everyones attention is the cannabis smoking on deck 10. This is unacceptable, spoke to staff numerous times and nothing was done.
This is definitely a party boat. Music was heard in our cabin right up till 11pm.
The ship is okay. Very busy no space in the pools. Be prepared to que ...
A friend selected this as our yearly girl's trip. First, we weren't aware that Cheers package did not include drinks on day one and ended up paying for drinks on first day. I guess we could've done the ghetto thing and snuck drinks onboard like some other guests did to hold us off until day 2 when we can use the Cheers drink package. There was lipstick stain on a glass at dinner. There was a leak ...
We enjoy taking the end of the season cruises. Usually the crowds aren't as large and the temperature is nice.
We have been on several cruise lines and have always preferred Carnival. But, our recent cruise to Alaska was very disappointing.
CARNIVAL HUB APPLICATION:
This application is frustrating to use. I could not stay connected to the Wi-Fi, and had to log in each time to use it. ...
I am a 60 year old male who travels solo. I booked this cruise from Seattle to Australia because it was close to where I live plus the itinerary was interesting and the cruise was still on COVID pricing. I was hesitant to go even up to the final day of embarkation because of all the negative reviews I read. I am so glad I went!!! I found the negative reviews were completely erroneous. If the ...
