Relatively new to cruising, having only cruised to Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico, in the past.
My wife told me that this 8-day cruise was the best vacation we have ever had. Why? We chose to make this Carnival cruise a means to find enjoyment in being together, taking advantage of the ports and what the ship offered.
Choosing to go the value way, allowing for more cruises, we opted for an inside ...
Boarding was very organized and accomplished with no problems. Disembarking was a nightmare. We were sent to a deck to stand in the hallway with no seating, even for disabled. Food was average but care of the room was much less than usual, as we only saw our room steward 3 times total. We had asked for a bucket of ice on the first day and finally received it on day three. We thought maybe Breeze ...
We chose this cruise for the length, and port, as we were trying out a cruise with 4 grandchidren ( 1-6 years) and their parents. The itinerary was fine for our group. This is our 7th Carnival cruise, the last being in 2005.
Our cabin was amazing. ( 7198) So much storage...the tub was great for the grandkids but might be difficult for some adults to get in and out of. Nice balcony, sofas. ...
This ship and itinerary offers an affordable and pleasant cruise experience, providing expectations are modest & reasonable...There are few bells & whistles and flashy wows on this vessel but it's a solid cruise. The twenty-five year old ship is a nostalgic blast from the past, a reminder of what cruise ships were like back-in-the-day. Some reviewers say she looks tired and worn but I see the ...
Upfront, Carnival lost us as customers and will explain why when discussing debarkation.
We chose Baltimore as it’s a convenient 50 min drive for us. We lived in FL for many years and all our previous cruises where out of FL ports. This was our first cruise since COVID, so we were curious on what changes we would see. One immediate change is the HUB app. This is an awesome addition and ...
We did a back-to-back on this ship for the itinerary, southern Caribbean. Number one this ship is definitely showing it's age. Rust all over the place, seating in the buffet needs replacing, and doors not shutting correctly or broken. We had a cove balcony which we normally love, but on this cruise, they decided to paint the lifeboat stanchions and we had paint chips raining down on us, and ...
My wife and I took this cruise to get away for a few days, and in anticipation of her retirement in a couple months. We are experienced cruisers, with over 30 trips in the last 30 years. The cruise was a combination of some good and some average and some really really bad. We've never been on a ship with so many rude, inconsiderate, and LOUD people. It was almost impossible to find anyplace on ...
We just returned from a cruise on the Carnival Sunshine out of Charleston. We had 14 in our group and we had a blast. We were on the Lido deck with a balcony. Nice clean room and our Stateroom attendant was Elna. She was so caring, kind, and attentive. Anything we needed she was able to provide. We ate Breakfast and Dinner in the Sunrise. The servers were excellent. We had Putra as our main server ...
First time on Carnival, first time inside cabin, first time guaranteed room vs choosing. Would do it all again. The room was spacious enough, good storage, not claustrophobic.
The ship is showing its design age a bit. It was built in 2004, but the design seems older than that. There is a design element that is a problem: There are only three non-hotel floors that you can cross completely from ...
This was my 15th cruise on a carnival ship.
Although it is an older ship it still had all things that make Carnival the Fun Ship.
The staff was amazing as usual, going out of their way to make you comfortable. My Room Steward was Josimo and he took care of us well.
Yes the decor was not as jazzy but this is an older ship. It was very clean
Yes you see the same staff serving dinner in ...
