Carnival Port Canaveral (Orlando) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

An Almost Perfect Little Cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

We are experienced cruisers who enjoy being on the ship. This cruise was a quick trip to the Bahamas that was inexpensive. We are able to drive down to Port Canaveral in about three hours so it is convenient. Our embarkation was delayed by an hour even though we had Faster to the Fun because of stragglers from the previous cruise. Four days later, our departure from the ship was delayed 30 ...

Happiness is - Carnival Sunshine

We got in on a special pricing deal. It was scheduled a year in advance. In the past, we have sailed on four different cruise lines and they were all special in there own way. Literally my only complaint, through my bad choice, was our cabin location!! We were in the center of the rear of the ship. I felt every little swell in the water, wave due to wind, etc. It took a few days to get my ...

Staff cutbacks are showing

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

Carnival seems to be shooting themselves in the foot with their cutbacks - the staff shortages were evident on this cruise, and IMO affected the overall "experience". We arrived at the port at our designated time, and the line went very quickly. We were on the ship within 45 minutes of arriving at the port. The ship itself was clean, and there did seem to be people cleaning regularly (except ...

February 11, 2017 - Port Canaveral Good itinerary - great weather - didn't realize this was a "gamblers' cruise" and we're not gamblers. I'm sure they enjoyed it. We like Carnival's Sports Bars - get to keep track of U.S. sports - especially nice during college basketball season - very smoky in casino which spread to Sports Bar (supposedly non-smoking). Hate that Carnival did away with table ...

Great Anniversary Cruise

Booked Cabin 7363 Ocean Suite, for our 30th Anniversary. Room was great best we ever stayed in hands down. Food was good in the everywhere with the exception of the main dining room. We have been over seas for the last 4 years so we haven't cruised for 5 years. the main dining room has changed a lot. it used to be the best place to go and eat on the ship. I think those days are over, they keep ...

My husband and I sailed on the Carnival Sunshine in February 2017. This was our 4th Carnival cruise and 9th cruise overall. Was this our best cruise? No. But it is very hard not to have a good time on a cruise. We found it relaxing and the weather was perfect. Always great to get away from New England in the winter. We had no problems with embarkation or disembarkation. Both moved very ...

Dining Service needs so much work in organization of waiters! Very disappointing

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Magic

It was the superbowl cruise of the western caribbean. The first time 18 of us went. First time on the carnival magic for most of us. Dining was super disappointing. The food was wonderful but the service was horrible. Half our table (9) did not get their drinks or got the wrong drinks. Waited too long to receive appetizers and dinner and dessert. Could not understand our waiter--hard for him to ...

Room Service needs attention

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

Just of the Sunshine, great weather, great ship, great food, great shows.... However, the room service and upkeep of the cabin was not what we have had in the past 13 Carnival Cruises. Our steward had 34 rooms to take care, one could tell that Carnival has made several cuts in personnel and it is reflected in the cabin service. Our room was not attended attended until around one o clock ...

Sunshine review from week of 2/11-2/19/17

This was the second leg of our back to back. The first leg had been on the Norwegian Epic. We liked the Sunshine a lot and had a really enjoyable trip. The ship was pretty. I did not think it showed it's age and I thought the Serenity area was really nice. We had an interior room and after seeing how the Epic was set up for rooms, I MUCH preferred the Sunshine's set up although I'll admit, I've ...

Carnival : "Neighborhood Bar" of Cruise Lines

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We have been avid cruisers since 1995, and have seen a steady decline in the way cruise ships operate, treat their passengers, and the passengers' comportment as well. Maybe this has resulted from "any time" or "freestyle" cruising, but regardless, you have to spend a lot more to get a quality cruise experience than Carnival offers. Where do I begin? GOOD THINGS: Ports: Thoroughly enjoyed ...
