Carnival Port Canaveral (Orlando) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

The folks at Rony's Tours took excellent care of us. We had a terrific time conversing with the taxi driver, very personable and proud of where he lives and what he does. The resort he delivered us to was superb. We had a fun day and the ocean was spectacular. Food and drinks were delivered to us at our beach chairs. Great service. When we were ready to leave the driver was already there ...

Hubby and I were celebrating our 24th anniversary and my ?? birthday. We thought embarkation went very smoothly, although all the eating spots were crazy busy...as it typical. We weren't able to dock at Costa Maya, our first port, which was disappointing. The winds were just too strong for that little dock. What this meant though, is 2 days at sea to start the cruise. There ...

Drove down to Port Canaveral from New York during February break. Tenth cruise, nine on Carnival, one on Royal Caribbean. We are a family of four and were traveling with four other families. All first time Cruisers. Chose the Magic because of the price and all of the activities available on board. Embarkation - Getting on the ship was a smooth process, within 15 minutes our entire group was ...

Great cruise. The cruise director, Reverend Dr. E made a huge impact. The best cruise director on any cruise that I was on. He was hilarious and got people involved. Everything he did was entertaining. He even made the muster drill entertaining. He was funny and entertaining, but extremely respectful during the military get together. He was very approachable, respectable and very ...

This was our 25th cruise, 7th on Carnival. We are an active couple in our 60s that enjoys cruising but we still feel Royal Caribbean is better. We chose the Magic because our friends booked it first and the price was good for us to join them. Our balcony cabin #8280 was a good location, and had good storage for all our things. We only saw our steward once on the first day and request daily ice ...

Service staff cut by at least a third; poor/slow service; terrible coordination

We have been Carnival fans for quite some time... telling everyone who asks that Carnival is the way to go. In the past, we had GREAT service on Carnival. Which is why we were so incredibly disappointed that Carnival is cutting staffing by working on some sort of corporate algorithm of maximizing profits while minimizing staffing/service. The ship itself is beautiful. But it was so incredibly ...

Sail date fit my schedule. The Bottomless Bubbles needs some revamping. My 10 year old son had to go to the bar just for a soda. Really not happy about that. Not worth the $225.00 for the family of 5. I would have been better off to just purchase the drinks as we went. If you are a juice or wate /coffee drinker don't purchase the soda package you will be much happier. Several times the ice maker ...

Booked in Nov.,,,,not a lot of choices during the northeast winter break. Cost $7800. including airfare. First time cruise for my kids and grandkids. They wanted to jump overboard! No entertainment except ear piercing rap music 24/7.....terrible food, sewage smell all over,,,,,smoke filled ,,,,both sides of our balcony were smoking all day,,,,had to keep our balcony doors closed! What a waste of ...

A Magical Cruise!

We are retired and have cruised Carnival many times - this was one of the best ever! The crew was great from stewards (Mochammad and his assistant!) to waiters and chefs to bartenders to Captain. The heart of the cruise, though, though, was the Cruise Director "Dr E!" He loves his passengers, especially the kids, and makes everyone smile as soon as he is around. He is the best I have ever ...
