Carnival Port Canaveral (Orlando) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

My daughter and I choose the Magic because of its itinerary and the ship size and we were not disappointed. Embarkation The embarkation at Port Canaveral went very smoothly. We were on the boat within an hour of arrival. We explored the ship and found the BBQ place (Guys Pig & Anchor Smokehouse - deck 5 mid ship) for lunch. Try it out!!! It was very good and was not busy since almost ...

We were on the Magic from May 27 to June 3 (of 2017) with an eight year old girl, my husband and I (40s) and my in-laws (late 70s) and everyone had a good time. Were there flaws? Sure, but there's no such thing as a perfect hotel/cruise boat/vacation. Would I book a trip on the Carnival magic again? Heck, yeah. Let's start at the beginning. Before the cruise We flew in the night ...

We went on The Magic during a very busy time during Memorial Day Week 2017. The ship was very nice, had great amenities and shows. Guys Burgers and Pizza bar where a hit. My Soon to be three year old loved the water works portion of the ship. I Think the staff/management were underprepared for the vast amount of people on the ship. Lines to get food were very long most of the time. Getting on and ...

Was Hoping for The Carnival Breeze

We made a last minute decision to do a shorter cruise and found the Carnival Magic had a 6 day cruise out of Cape Canaveral. We researched the size of the Magic and found it to be the sister ship of one of our favorite ships, The Carnival Breeze. We hoped for an experience equal to the one on our two Breeze cruises before they moved her to Texas. Magic was a poor substitute. The Magic has the ...

We chose this cruise because we wanted to cruise from Port Canaveral and the RCCL ship did not have balcony rooms only suites. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smooth since we purchased the FTTF package which is well worth the money. Food was average but the steak house was great. Buffet was good and well organized. Didn't go to any shows but the comedy club was very good and we ...

DISAPPOINTED

This was our first ever cruise and most likely our last. Ship felt dirty, outside lounge chairs where sticky on the handrails and stained from previous guest. Hair was on the deck throughout, found glass by one pool the next morning which scared me for the kids sake and lots of standing water. The windows appeared dirty, dining room chairs had crumbs and tables were not wiped down well. Cabin had ...

Great time for our first cruise

We chose this cruise due to the dates, balcony and price. It was easy getting on and off the boat. We could bring a 12-pack of soda and two bottles of wine which helped to have in the room. Room service was minimal. We ordered two Reubens the first night which were good and Continental breakfast and coffee for the morning, which worked out great. Food was good. The breakfast buffet was ...

Where to begin. We are avid cruisers and were so excited to be on a bigger and newer ship. As far as decor and all goes, it didn't disappoint, however in all other aspects we were sorely disappointed. This cruise felt like there were too many cruisers and not enough workers, which meant that our steward and dinner staff didn't offer the type of service we're accustomed to. I'm not at all blaming ...

This was our 4th Carnival cruise (8th overall cruise). The last Carnival ship we were on was the Sunshine in 2015. Man, Carnival has really made cuts! Not many positives that I can really say. The food has gotten worse. The value really isn't there as much. They really need to hire an American buffet manager to head up the Lido food service & prep. The only thing was edible on the Lido deck ...

We traveled from Detroit to Orlando the day before and stayed in Port Canaveral the day before embarkation. Boarding was a a breeze and were in our cabins by noon. The crew was super friendly and always helpful. The food was average and honestly since it was our first cruise we didn't know what to expect, but overall I thought it would be a little better then it was. We had got the drink package, ...
