To preface this review, we'll go on record that three of our first six cruises were on Carnival. We’ve been on 24 cruises on seven cruise lines prior to this one. After our third Carnival trip we swore we would never, ever go back. Two years ago we took our kids and grandkids (ages 13, 7, and 2) on the Carnival Miracle from Long Beach to Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta for their first ...
We took this suddenly unplanned cruise to escape the harsh reality of the 2nd angelversary of our sons passing..Our First bad experience started with the dining situation...we had requested early dining from the cruise booking company but were confirmed on late dining at the Northern lights dining..We were adviced by the booking company to once on board to approach the maítre d

Chose this cruise for the price and location. The food was okay but not like previous cruises. On a few nights we didn't eat in the dining room and just went to the buffet. They had extremely limited choices. Only a small section of the buffet was open. It seemed that they wanted everyone to eat in the dining room. We took the kids to the 8pm shows in the theater and had to leave because they ...
We planned this cruise over 20 months in advance. We were cruising to celebrate our 20 Year anniversary, our oldest son's high school graduation, and our youngest son's 15th birthday.
This trip was perfect. We arrived at 11:00 to Port Canaveral per our selected check in time. We were checked in and on board within 45 minutes. While waiting or our room, we had some lunch and some drinks. Took ...
Overall great experience! This was our 4th cruise with Carnival, probably the best one to date. This review is lengthy. Allow 8-10 minutes.
We arrived for embarkation early. About 11:10 and went straight through security to the reception desk and then seating area. On the ship in about 20 minutes from the time we entered the building. Once on the ship you have to go to either deck 5 or deck 10 ...
We have been on 13 CCL cruises and other lines as well. Our son and his friend graduated high school and asked for their gift to go on a cruise. They chose Carnival Magic. Embarkation was a 20 min wait upon arrival (used park & cruise-well organized). Arrived at 12 noon note:processing time on boarding pass was not enforced. On board by 12:40 and had lunch. Italian restaurant, no line, no ...
We chose this cruise because it matched the days I had off of school. We were in cabin 2371 and it sounded like someone was bowling and dropping pans above our heads about 20 hours a day. We complained and the agreed to stop the nose between the hours of 11am and 5am, they mostly did but I don't consider it a vacation when I am given a window of 6 hours to sleep. They did this for 3 of the 6 ...
This ship seemed very well built, however starting to show signs of age and in need of updating. the Cabin was spacious, but also very worn in and more in need of updating than other areas of ship. Mini fridge did not cool items, pieces of the bathroom hardware kept falling off.
Dining room service an food was was what you would expect from a cheap sit down restaurant.Best food was from ...
This was our fourth cruise on our fourth cruise line. I have now cruised with Holland America, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and now Carnival. Of the four, I would recommend Carnival over the others.
The Carnival Magic was spectacular, very clean, lots of energy, but with plenty of opportunity to relax and unwind. We cruised with three young children under 9, all of which loved the water slides, ...
Overall, a huge cruise success. I've taken 4 now - 3 carnival, 1 disney. Enough to know what's important, yet not enough to be snobby about it. Here's my honest assessment.(coming from a 47 year old dude.)
The Magic is the perfect combination of a beautiful ship, organized staff and well selected ports. In a word: value. Go for it. You'll have a blast.
Highest marks go to the ...
