I would like to start by saying this was cruise #7 for us, all with Carnival. I am not one to complain, but rather take things in stride and make the most of everything. That being said, I will be honest in this review and for the first time, I do have some negatives to share. The positives far outweigh the negatives and we still have a great trip!
This cruise included myself, my husband, ...
I have cruised plenty and picked this one because of price and itinerary. Embarkation went well and I was onboard within a half hour of arriving. Rooms weren't quite ready but the room stew let me drop off my bags. Carnival dose a great job of making the safety drill as painless as possible. Tip: order a case of water before hand as Carnival doesn't allow you to bring any with you, it will be in ...
The ship was kept very clean which was amazing considering how many people with no regards for others discarded their trash EVERYWHERE. There were children everywhere and there were shows and movies almost constantly playing. Dining was always interesting. The servers are very polite and always had our table for 18 ready and our individual drinks ready. However, the food that was prepared was ...
My wife's family set the cruise up last year as a family reunion cruise. The boarding process was what I expected with as many people as it was, but it went fairly smooth. The staff were great. Our cabin stewart was wonderful. Orlando, the cruise director, was attentive, funny, engaging. An all around people person. The food was great and available when you were hungry. I probably ate too ...
I just returned from a very enjoyable 4 night cruise on the Carnival Liberty. I will break down from embarkation to disembarkation how are trip went.
Embarkation----Went very smooth, we got to the cruise port at our assigned time with all our paperwork and passports in hand and were on the fun ship in 20 minutes time.
Cabin---- We had cabin number 9224. The room was what we expected it to ...
Went on an 8 night cruise of Eastern Caribbean.
Transfers from MCO to Port Canaveral went so smooth couldn't have been easier. Embarkation was a snap and took a total of maybe 20 minutes before we boarded. Could not go straight to our rooms and did the typical go up to Lido and have lunch.
Ship is really big, but not difficult to navigate, everything seemed clean, Cabin was what I call ...
Back from the 8-day Eastern cruise on Magic. Onboard with wife and 2 daughters in their 20's. Have to admit we are more RCL fans then CCL, but before you stop reading, we all really enjoyed this cruise.
Our main dislike on CCL is the ships layout. Hate going so far on one deck, then having to go up a deck, over, back down. Guess we just like the royal promenade set up on RCL ships to get ...
We chose this ship as it fit in the week we were planning to travel with family and friends. We flew into MCO and stayed at the Homewood Suites in Cape Canaveral. This was a great hotel spot to depart from. The provided a shuttle to the ship for $5 a person. The Magic was overall a bit dirty with dirt and dust visibly built up on the curtains. The entertainment on the ship was not the best and ...
My family and I are experienced cruisers. My wife became a platinum Carnival member on this cruise and I am not far behind. We are in our early 30's and we sailed with our two children (8 and 9). This is a detailed review so I hope it will be helpful!
The Set-Up
We sailed on the Magic out of Port Canaveral on an 8 day Eastern Caribbean itinerary. We drove in the night before and stayed ...
This was my first time cruising, but I went with a friend that had gone before (this was helpful).
Embarkation and Disembarkation: Embarking was very easy and quick. The staff was helpful and made the process pleasant. Disembarking was also good, except being selected for random bag screening. This was a timely and unnecessary process.
Ship: The Magic offers activities and amenities for ...
