Carnival Port Canaveral (Orlando) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Overall great value just needs a few fine touches

We just wanted a short, fun getaway for the holiday weekend, and I would say overall we did get that. Having just cruised Royal Caribbean last October for our anniversary, we chose Carnival for pretty much one thing: the food. We were so disappointed with the food on RC, and decided to choose Carnival for this little escape. Hands down, Carnival always has the best food, whether in the buffet ...

This was our first cruise ever. After talking to Several friends about there cruises we booked carnival . Our embarkation and disembarkation went very well and was impressed. The ship was very clean . Our stewards were ok. We had did not get beach towels in room when we got there. We didn't know were would be billed for them if not left in room when we disembarked . So we did end up with them . ...

Just returned from an 8 day cruise on the Carnival Magic. The Magic is a very nice ship for families and groups. The Carnival Crew did a great job. Everyone we met was very friendly and offered great service. This is our 3rd cruise on Carnival and we found improvements in the dining room experience and food quality. We had the second seating in the Southern Lights dining room and our ...

Took a cruise on the Magic with my wife and teenage daughter and son in late August right before the hurricane re-routed the ships. The Magic is a beautiful ship and overall we were very satisfied with the cruise. Here are the positives and things that could be improved in my opinion: The Good: The ship is beautiful and very well maintained; Staff was friendly and helpful; Cruise ...

We got super lucky with our timing avoided Ivan chaos by one week, our thoughts and prayers go out to those not as lucky. So first time experience. Excellent value. I would say the only structural weakness was the Ocean kids club for that pre-double digit 8/9 age activities didn't keep him interested. Our son got bored and would check himself out and go back to the room. The younger cruisers, ...

We went in eyes opened, as many reviews said he bigger ship was overcrowded, filled with noise and long lines for everything. We actually found hat to not be so true. We actually were expecting to see a mass of humanity and never did. We had Your Time Dining and waited one night only for 10 minutes (at the nearby bar) and on the Captains Meet and Mingle Night. There were never long lines or ...

We choose this trip because it was 3 port's we had never visited and a ship we hadn't sailed on before. Our cabin was on the 2nd floor which was a cove balcony overall the cabin was nice but needed some updating the furniture on the balcony was old and had paint splattered all over it and hole's in the seats the floor of the balcony was molded around the edges looked like it hadn't had a good ...

Budget Cuts Noticeable - Still a "Fun" Ship

We just returned from our "Quad Cruise to Aruba". Myself and three of my twenty-something friends booked this voyage a few months out after getting a great price on the itinerary (Aruba, Grand Turk, Curacao) Boarding the Carnival magic was seamless and within a quick look around you can tell that you are on a ship that is a significant departure from the older Carnival ships. The theme and ...

Good Cruise, some minor disappointments

I have enjoyed Carnival cruises in the past, and they have been a major portion of the 25 or so cruises I have been on, the last Carnival was about 6 years ago on the Dream. Getting on board was a disaster the elevators forward were mobbed I went to mid ships and they were out of service for luggage so we ended up climbing eight floors to our cabin. As noted below the cabin was ...

I have cruised plenty and picked this one because of price and itinerary. Embarkation went well and I was onboard within a half hour of arriving. Rooms weren't quite ready but the room stew let me drop off my bags. Carnival dose a great job of making the safety drill as painless as possible. Tip: order a case of water before hand as Carnival doesn't allow you to bring any with you, it will be in ...
