Carnival Port Canaveral (Orlando) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Each day we started out with a good morning no matter who the person was each Carnival worker showed dignity and welfare our room service gentleman was Lorenio did a great job on the room each day my partner was not well and needed to spend most of the day in cabin he kept on top of everything at a different time thank you for that. In the dining room we were sat down by what we called the 3 ...

Decent cruise overall, but had some disappointments!

Overall The cruise was really good overall. The ship is in nice condition and kept clean in most places. The public restrooms smelled bad on occasion, but that is to be expected with what all the buffet food does to the human body. As the Magic is one of the larger ships, there is plenty to explore and do, and we never found ourselves bored. The hot tubs were almost always on the "cold" ...

Spa Deck and NOT My Time Dining

My time dining? Not so much. We had to wait 45 minutes for a table for 4 out of 7 nights. I understand waiting to be seated if you are part of a group but we waited for a table for 4 each time. I voiced my disappointment to customer service and the maître d', who explained it was everyone coming at the same time. But 4 out of 7 nights of everyone was hard to believe. It seemed to be more of a ...

Second time on a Carnival cruise. We were excited about this cruise as it was a much newer ship then the previous one we had been on. We were looking forward to some upgrades onboard and better quality in food. We thought the entertainment was pretty good last year, so we were expecting the same this time. It was a group of 10 of us. Age range from 12-60's. Group agreed to do sit down dining ...

I chose this trip due to the itinerary and the dates. Embarkation was a breeze, I was scheduled to arrive around 12:30, but we arrive around 11 and we breezed right thru the embarkation procedure; the woman that checked us in was amazing and very engaging! our room was not ready since we were early, but the cleaning crew allowed us to bring our luggage into the room and change; we left the ...

The buffet staff was outstanding. There was always a smile from each of them, they were always around cleaning up and there were always supervisors around and checking up and talking to us. There was a 40ish supervisor with shaved hair that I saw no less than 3 times a day. Cabin steward was Audi. He and his staff did an excellent job of keeping the rooms clean and picked up. The housing staff ...

Wanted a winter get-away to the warm weather. We had a pretty good cruise experience all around. Our cabin was always cleaned every day but not at the time requested. We ate in the Washington dining room for evening meals It was great! We made some good friends from sharing a dinning table who ended up spending a lot of time playing cards with us. That was so much fun! We did not go to ...

We chose this cruise because the pricing seemed fair, and after reading reviews online, we determined it offered the most activities, eating options, entertainment, etc. We paid for Faster to the Fun, and it made embarkation a breeze! We didn't wait in any lines, we walked right through all points, and our room was ready when we go on board so we didn't have to deal with luggage. It was worth the ...

Never Again Carnival

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

This adventure was a family cruise. There were a total of 10 of us. First of all, getting a seat outside in the sun was a struggle every day. One of us got up at 6am each morning to go sit outside and save some seats till everyone else woke up. If you were on deck after 10am -- you would be hard pressed to find a single seat. Cruising is about sunshine and relaxing.... but hard to do when you ...

I wanted to go to Aruba and Curacao and they were was best ports!!! I had not been on the Sunshine yet (out of 12 Carnival cruises) and the reviews were not favorable but I thought the Sunshine was great. The comedy club was too small but we got in every night and the YTD worked great for us - it was no big deal to get our table reservation on Deck 5 and then go down to Deck 3 to eat. We never ...
