This was a first in a porthole cabin and it was quite nice. The bathrooms are always a little tight, to be expected...but the location of this room was very quiet. The portholes aren't quite as good as a window or balcony, but you could still see out and let the light in.

Very spacious and clean. We had a wonderful cabin steward (Jeanette). We did hear some noise from the engines but otherwise it was pretty quiet. The room is located more towards the front of the ship so you don't really hear any of the activity noises. We were very happy with our cabin. Even though we had two portholes we were still had a pretty good view out the windows.

The Cabin was larger than I expected. There was 2 port hole windows with a deep cubby that if one of my children were with me, they would have loved laying or sitting there. holes were nice to see the sun shinning and it had a curtain to close it if I wanted to nap during the day. Had a small seating chair, flat screen TV, and vanity desk with 4 drawers. Two closets and plenty of hangers. Bathroom was average with the handle shower, and short curtain.

I thought the cabin would be outdated but no. It was nice but was missing a clock. I will bring my small alarm clock next time!! Our room Steward Budi was awesome!! Called us by our first names, made us feel like family and was very friendly.

The cabin size was nice. No sofa or frig. The portals are very nice. Makes the cabin feel larger. Portal area Big enough to put a bed in it ;) Wide halls. Nicely located to elevators to wherever you wanted to go. We normally book the aft sweets with balconies. Couldn't get away from the smoke there either.. I really like the cabin location forward, port.

Paid for an interior class and got this porthole room. The size was great, had our bed made into a king. More than enough room for us and our things. Being up front will get you a little more motion, but for us, it just makes good sleeping. No complaints, great room.

Great Time By: stormin324
Cabin was good, I understand the cabin may only be on deck 4 , but the shower in the bathroom was bigger then on my past cruise which were on deck 6 and 7. Room was clean and the service was great.

This is the same type of cabin we booked the last time we cruised, and we were just as happy this time as last. The porthole is a nice touch so you know what time of day it is, but the view isn't spectacular. The cabin is small, but not small enough to be a bother. Our room steward was great, and made up for the room steward we had last time.

We found PARADISE. By: BenjiRodney
Nice location on the Upper Deck, easy to get to the Guest Services Desk and the shops. The elevators tended to keep skipping the 6th level but hey your in the middle of the ocean and where else are you going to go. You have to look straight out the portholes in order to see anything. But it does allow for natural light to shine in. This cabin is 4 from the front, I did not notice any extra movement.

Never Again By: sunlover_beachbum
Right above the anchor .... so you get noise in the port when arriving and departing. If you have the beds put together .... there is a corner cabinet that will block your passage -- so someone will have to climb over back and forth to reach the closets or bathroom at night. Not such a good choice.

M-3 Porthole room - All the way forward. Priced-right - the same as the interior room. No unusual sounds, but people in Room M1 next door smoked and the smell came through the air conditioning system into our room. We shut off the air vent and that stopped the smell.

Very noisy at docking and leaving the dock because of the thrusters right under our cabin. Quiet in hallway, bathroom worked perfectly

Cabin Cabinetry was very worn and damaged - Room is really not condusive to having the twins made into a King unless you enjoy crawling over the corner. Love the bathroom set up on this class of Carnival Ship - bigger shower. Beware if you don't like early morning wakeup calls! While this cabin is great in that nobody walks by except your room steward, you also must contend with anchor noise and thruster noise. Both of which are extremely loud in this particular cabin.

Ample room for 2. Clean, King bed, unusual placement of corner life-jacket storage container. Portholes provide limited but interesting views. You will hear the bow thrusters in use when docking. Other than that, no noises or bumps in the night. 3 standing closets, safe, table chair, lcd tv. 1 outlet in room, 1 outlet in bathroom. Large shower, no tub. No refrigerator but room steward kept us stocked with fresh ice.
