Carnival New York (Manhattan) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

It was the first cruise for my daughter and I. She is 31, severely handicapped and uses a wheelchair outside of the house. I wanted to try a different sort of vacation for us since Disney and Universal (definitely NOT Universal) are too much money, too much aggravation and too little reward. I am so glad we had such a bad time at Universal. If we hadn't I never would have tried cruising. This will ...

Carnival Sunshine a Sunny Experience!!

First cruise-- was absolutely DE-lighted!!! Carnival staff all were helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. Cabin with two twin beds, 2nd deck aft, was more than ample with closet & drawer space aplenty. Bathroom certainly adequate with a nice shower. Restaurants were well-staffed with wonderfully pleasant servers. Food was outstanding and menu selections were fabulous!!! Overall, I was ...

Like others I was a little stressed after reading some of these reviews but have to say my experience was excellent. It was a 4 day cruise to St. John/Canada. I have been to that port several times before so just got off the boat to shop in the market and have a nice seafood feast at Steamers directly across the street. I was in room 7198 - Grand Suite....it was my first experience with a ...

First Carnival cruise! We didn't want to fly to go to a port so we drove from VA to NY. I have been on Royal Caribbean cruise ships before so this was a first carnival experience for my husband and I. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. We went on the Carnival Sunshine. We had an inside stateroom and we never felt cramped. It was very clean and cozy. We each had our own closests ...

I have been on 11 cruises, 7 with Carnival. Carnival was always most fun ship for me. I will say that their standard has changed significantly. The food was not good. The only food I felt was enjoyable were the burgers and fries at Guy's Burgers on the Lido deck and the Pizza. We went to the specialty restaurant - Cucina Del Capitano which was the best food we had all week! It was worth the $15 ...

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Carnival Splendor

The Splendor cruise ranked right down near the bottom of my nearly 40 cruises. I'll not blame Carnival for the 'rocking and rolling' caused by weather, they have no control over that. The staterooms were kept clean by the overly syrupy-sweet cabin attendant, but that is to be expected. The food was not good. If they had a Burger King on board, I'd have been happier. The burger I did have on ...

This was by far the worst cruise I have ever taken. It started off bad and ended bad. First of all, I just getting to the ship on October 4th was a hassle. Months and weeks before the cruise, Carnival stated in their emails to plan on boarding the ship between the hours of noon and 3:00pm for a smooth departure. There was no need to board sooner as we would have plenty of time to enjoy the ship ...

Overall the cruise was wonderful---I have always enjoyed reading all the reviews and after 27 Carnival cruises i guess it's time to start speaking up!!! Went on the Splendor 10/4 Canada cruise The ship Splendor is one of those ..you have to do down to go up to one of the restaurants---don't love that! We had and aft extended cabin--wasn't really worth it on this cruise--the cabin is a bit ...

We loved all the staff we came in contact with, everyone had smiles on their faces! You could tell each of them really loved what they did! They made it fun! We were disappointed in the quality of the ship, the condition it was in, and some of the things offered that weren't full quality (like the spa area not working often, the spa suite wasn't anything special like it was advertised, and ...
