Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Not My Favorite

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

Just got off of a 4-day cruise from New York to St. Johns. When I got on the ship (it was my first time on Sunshine) I thought how beautiful it looked and how clean – very understated, but nice. Unfortunately, this was not my favorite Carnival cruise. Before I start with my complaints let me say that every person who worked on this cruise was friendly, helpful and personable. The casino staff ...

Great Time on Carnival Sunshine, June 30, St. John

Considerations: • We are a family of three in our 30’s with a 3 year old • We didn’t eat in the MDR • We didn’t go to any of the shows or comedy acts, so I can’t comment on the space or crowds • We didn’t spend time by the pool with the exception of some time spent on the Serenity Deck (very nice!) and Dive in Movie nights (great!) Pros: • Very welcoming staff - Carnival ...

Great weekend getaway

This is a great weekend getaway trip, our first on Carnival. Room steward was great! Food okay and entertainment, well entertaining. A few glitches were with dining. We have The Your Time Dining and in order to use this you needed to wait in line to be told to go to the restaurant where once again you waited in line to get a table, made no sense at all and the line to get your chit that you ...

We saw whales on the way out to sea this cruise, and that should of been an omen. THAR SHE BLOWS, becase this cruise kept on blowing. Well, actually it started before that with our arrival at the teminal when everyone was told, as rhey wete getting in line tthat hey had to make out an immigration form. People started pushing and shoving to get to the one table that held the form forms and only ...

I can't remember what floor we were on, but it was the casino floor, and we were not made aware of this when booking our cabin. Our cabin was smokey all the time (worse in the evenings when the casino was full) and Carnival refused to find us another suitable cabin, even though we told them 2 people in our family has asthma, and one was highly allergic to smoke. Our entire family got ill from the ...

Cruised Carnival in past.always a great experience. This cruise was the worst ever. Staff not friendly, food service awful, dining room waiters didn't even pour our water and were so frazzled forgot stuff. Food either undercooked or burnt.. Luncheon buffets not any better..o nly positive was cabin clean even though we didn't see our steward until the last day!! The adults only Serenity Deck ...

We chose this cruise because it was on a ship we haven't been on before and it was going to Canada. Later in the year we are going to the Caribbean. Therefore, we were not interested in going there now. Also, this is our ninth time to Canada. We enjoy going to Canada. We like leaving and returning to NYC since we live here. No traveling to catch the ship which can be troublesome. We ...

Background information-My husband and I (both 29) have been on several cruises before. This was our first time cruising with our 2 year old daughter. We drove to the cruise terminal in Manhattan from northern NY. It was pretty easy to get to. Ship information-I liked the layout of the ship. It was easy to access everything. Activities-Cruising with our daughter, we didn't take part in as ...

I been on a couple cruises with Carnival to Canada already. Sunshine is a refurnished smaller ship than the four other Carnival ships I been on.. They added more rooms took away other stuff. But did not realized the dining and Lido Buffet could not handle the over flowed. It was annoying where you had to go to 5th floor to get a page to be call to the dinning room on the 3rd fl and both time ...

This cruise was chosen for a family reunion; 15 family members set sail out of New York for a short cruise to Canada. The New York sail away was wonderful – past lower Manhattan, the Freedom Tower, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Carnival is almost never my first choice for a cruise, but the Sunshine proved to be the best Carnival ship I have been on. The common areas were clean, ...
