Carnival New York (Manhattan) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This was our first cruise and we were pretty impressed. All of the crew were so nice, the food was good and our cabin was very clean. The bed was so comfortable! Casino isn't worth wasting your money, machines are super tight. The main dining room was nice but slow on the service. We had dinner at Fahrenheit 555 one night and it was excellent, worth the extra money. The cruise director, ...

Hello Lovely (in my cutest British accent). That's Emma, the cruise director. She and her Fun Squad are amazing and thoroughly entertaining! This was my family's first Carnival Sunshine cruise and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. The live shows, music and comedy are a must see. The performers are extremely talented! We dined most evenings in the main dining room. Big shout ...

July 20-28, 2016 I traveled with my wife and 2 daughters (13 and 10). This is my children's 2nd cruise and my 5th (3 on Carnival, 1 on Royal Caribbean) We arrived at the terminal at about 10:15 am. I like to arrive early to beat the crowds. We were through security and in the waiting area without actually waiting in a line. We boarded the ship between 11:30 and 12:00. We went up to the ...

We have been sailing Carnival since 2008 but left Carnival for two years after having a very bad cruise aboard the Splendor and refusing to ever sail on her again. The Sunshine is a nice ship. I read a lot about it being crowded but let's face it, what cruise ship isn't? On our return to Carnival we did notice cost saving changes but nothing to write home about. We missed the size of the ...

Great trip......Embarkation went pretty smooth, always to excited to notice anything wrong at that time. Deck 8 Balcony cabin was very comfortable with fantastic service, thanks Jenifer.... Marketplace- Buffet food.....not bad but food temperature little off at times. Way to many sugar options, cakes, etc.More healthy choices would be welcomed. Sunrise/Sunset dining was excellent, ...

Not the Best Cruise

My group of 10 chose this cruise out of NY because we wanted to take a break from flying to Miami. This was a big mistake. The last four years we have been on the Dream once and the Breeze twice. The Sunshine can not compare to these ships. We knew we were going on a smaller ship, but we did not expect it to seem so small. Let me explain. The first sea day when I went out in the morning to ...

This was my first cruise. I sailed with my entire family. There was 17 of us. I am 64, I have some physical challenges but I manage to get myself around sometimes with the aid of my walking stick. While on this cruise it became obvious that in some situations I need assistance. I also learned that I can only do what I can do and I need to let go of the things that I can't do. My family has ...

i chose carnival cruises because we have never sailed with them before.the food was delish, the entertainment standard, shore excursions expensive as usual, our cabin was an inside but was fine because you don't spend a lot of time in it.i found out that they only had 900 lounge chairs for 3000 guests.they don't enforce the 40 minute if you covered your lounge chair with a towel and left all ...

We arrived the day before the cruise traveling from Boston area by train. My wife has a great fear of airplanes, buses, limousines, taxis, etc. Actually anything that moves faster than the horse drawn carriages in Central Park. But for some unknown reason a train (NOT the Acela though, I made that mistake once) is OK. Go figure! Stayed at the Broadway Millennium on W 44th Street and took in ...
