Carnival New York (Manhattan) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This is my 12th cruise and at 1st I thought it was just me but wow, I could have just copied and pasted the negatives that others have already touched on. 1. The kids omg, they were everywhere including serenity. They were loud, obnoxious and the teens drinking . I'm black so I like hip hop but come on, its a cruise I don't need to hear it blasting everywhere. I now hate the name Marco Polo. I ...

Not the best

Not one of the best cruises that we have been on. Food choices centered around additional fees. There were no all day options. Guy' s burgers were good, but on a 9 days cruises there should be more opinions than tacos, pizza or burgers. A cigar bar or inside smoking choice would be nice. Shows were mediocre, comedy ok. The piano bar with Patrick was enjoyable and the karoke was a ...

Do Not Cruise The Sunshine!!!

Worst cruise experience ever! We booked this cruise on the Sunshine because we had a great cruise on the Conquest last November. I can't believe the difference between the two ships. 1. Food was terrible. Chicken can be compared to warm(and sometimes cold) rubber. Fish was slimy and under cooked. 2. Towels and sheets were dirty even after having the room cleaned. 3. Smell of ...

6th cruise, 4th with carnival. i knew this ship was almost a 20 year old ship but i went in with an open mind. If this was your first cruise or is going to be your first cruise. You will be fine. you will enjoy it and you will be happy. those of you are have cruised before.. Whether on rcl, ncl, celebrity or carnival, chances are this will be the worst cruise you ever been on. There is no ...

Oh where do I start. First of all when I book the cruise they lied to me that ship came out in 2013. I later researched it it was built in 1997 I think refurbished in 2013 and name changed so basically it's a grandma in its fleet. Than when we board the ship there's only 2 people for guest service come on there's thousands of people boarding. I went to my stateroom call guest service they put me ...

Never Again on the SUNSHINE -- way too crowded!

The cruise was a free "bounce back" offer from the casino. We wanted to leave from NYC so this was our only option - We did sail with an open mind, unfortunately never again on the Sunshine. This was our 19th cruise on Carnival and we like to try new ships - WE WERE WARNED - next time I will listen more closely. The ship is too crowded - they have added more cabins but have eliminated a ...

CARNIVAL SUNSHINE-NO WOW FACTOR.

I am ALL FINISHED with CARNIVAL. The Sunshine is not big enough to hold all the passengers. Emma the cruise director was horrible. I thought she was spaced out. Phone smile , phoney laugh. Just out right horrible. I found the buffet to be dirty and lacked variety. I also found the buffet to always be over crowded and had a terrible odor. The ship lacked air conditioning in the public ...

We chose this cruise because of the destinations it was going to and the dates of sailing and return. It was a perfect week for me, as it gives me 1 week home before returning to work the day after Labor Day. We have been on Carnival cruise ships before and never had a complaint. I have to say that it's been at least 10 years since we sailed on Carnival and unfortunately things have changed. ...

Just got back from the Carnival Sunshine..what a fantastic ship! I enjoyed every aspect of it..the shows, the food, the service, the drinks. We walked to the shows 15 minutes early and we never had a problem getting a seat. The water slides on the Sunshine rocked! Oh my how fast they are!! My room steward, Herbaju was fantastic! He took such good care of us and always called us by name. So ...

Sailed with a group of about 40 neighborhood friends and kids (ages 7-19) and had a great vacation on the Carnival Sunshine out of NYC. We are in our mid 40s and haven't cruised in 20 years (also with Carnival). Forgot how much fun you could have just on the ship and much has changed for the better. Ports were Grand Turk, Half-Moon Cay and Nassau, Bahamas. Overall, we had an epic vacation for ...
