Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

CARNIVAL'S SLUM SHIP

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Dream

We chose this cruise because we had not been to the Keys yet. We have cruise many times in the past but typically to the Caribbean. The course was altered due to weather. I understand that, but they knew prior to departure, and should have offered customers the opportunity to reschedule and still receive what they paid for...which was a trip to the keys and Bahamas. Who wants to pay for a ...

Carnival Dream is supposed to be a large, fun-ship, but maybe due to its design doesn’t feel all that large. The water park was great! I had a lot of fun going down those slides, especially the drain pipe, which to me was the fastest. The serenity retreat was nice when you can find a lounger. The serenity area had a lot of wind to keep you cooled off, but not a lot of shade unless you can ...

We chose this cruise primarily due to timing as we only had two weeks to choose from. We booked a Cove Balcony for the first time and loved it. The staff on the ship was outstanding as usual. I will try to post a longer review under the message boards sometime in the next couple of weeks. Here is a super quick overview: Embarkation was super smooth. We were on the ship well before noon ...

Relaxing, Very Enjoyable Vacation with our 12 Year Old Granddaughter

We chose this one because it was a good price, plus seemed family friendly and we were taking our 12 year old granddaughter. We were extremely well pleased with the whole experience, however, we would suggest that you go to the city of departure a day or so ahead so that you can be well rested to begin your cruise. (And also check out the city). This was our first cruise and we weren't sure ...

Although the flooding was substantial & most roads to NOLA were blocked the day before our cruise, we found some small backroads to gain entry to the city by going around Baton Rouge--others weren't so lucky & had to cancel. Embarkation was smooth as silk-we had no FTTF nor are we Plat/Diamond yet (next cruise!), but it was no problem at all as we were onboard and eating at Pasta Bella by ...

This was a gift from my son and the first cruise I had ever been on. We travelled without kids and I must admit that I was more than impressed from the facilities offered to the excellent staff! We arrived in New Orleans the night before and enjoyed exploring the town. I recommend arriving the day before just to be sure you are at the port on time. Our embarkation and disembarkation went very ...

This was an annual family vacation. My husband and I have 4 children and we are always looking for a good time with good value. This seemed like a great option for us. There was a lot for the kids to do. My husband and I are a middle income family and I have to admit, for what we spent we felt like we got what we paid for. We got a good price; got a nice room and our last name isn't trump, so ...

Not a great time

Embarkation was a breeze. We had a cloud 9 Spa suite and so we were afforded priority boarding. We had immediate access to our room, 11205. Room: clean, quite. We could not enjoy the balcony because it was either flooded, daily. Or because slobs from above dropped trash on us. One day an apply core. Once half eaten pizza. Drink straws almost daily. I got tired of picking up ...

We were 2 families in 3 balcony cabins on the Veranda deck. We all had a great time. We ate in the dining room, Crimson, every night so I can't comment on the lines at the buffet. Breakfast was in the Scarlet dining room and lunch was a bunch of places. We tried the pasta place, it was good and quick, the Indian, same, the Mongolian had a line and wasn't worth the wait. Pizza is always ...

Very relaxing at times boring cruise but enjoyed the down time.

We were in cabin 2242 which was an extended ocean view room with "2 bathrooms" 1 is the standard cruise ship bathroom with small shower. The second has a 3/4 size tub with shower and sink. Standing room in there is enough to turn around only but the tub room shower is more spacious than the standard one. Our family only used the tub room to shower due to the increased room in the shower area. ...
