Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This cruise was chosen because of my niece's 50th birthday. This cruise was a disappointment to me. The service was not up to its usual standard, the activities were scheduled poorly and the food in the dining room was not as good as I am accustomed to on Carnival. The past guest party was the worst I've ever attended. I ran into several cruisers that echoed my sentiments. The Cruise Critic meet ...

This cruise was an add on to our holiday in New Orleans. There was an issue with my not having my ESTA at hand on embarkation, I felt that I would not be allowed to board the ship without proof that I actually possessed one. Although I would not have got passed immigration at the airport without it. Once on board thing improved somewhat. The cabin was clean and comfortable, our cabin maid ...

The Dream is a great ship compared to my last cruise on the Fasanation. The staff as always were fantastic. I'm amazed out how hard they work and they should be tipped well for all that they do each and everyday! No real complaints other than I wish Carnival was like Princss and offered surf and turf at dinner without the additional cost. I think we pay enough for the cruise to have steak and ...

Perhaps Carnival's Worst

This was a group cruise. The embarkation port (New Orleans) is not equipped to accommodate cruise ships in excess of 2,000 passengers. There are no separate or expedited check-in for Platinum or diamond guests in New Orleans. The trip down the Mississippi River was VERY interesting! Have been on the Breeze (Sister ship), I had high hopes for the Carnival Dream. I was very disappointed! The Breeze ...

I took this cruise with a group of four friends. I have been on other cruise lines before and I was not sure what to expect of a Carnival cruise. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ate so much good food I put on 20lbs. Even though the ship is starting to show its age, they were always cleaning and painting the ship. Don't waste your money on the steak house on ...

Halloween on the Carnival Dream is always a great time. Scarlett Dining room crew were wonderful, food delicious, service great. Cruise director Jase also good. Interior room on lido was convenient and cool with great 1x day morning service-our choice. Room steward was awesome. Good entertainment, loved the spa & serenity area. We will be back next year! Husbands enjoyed their Carnival ...

I was given a free cruise (inside cabin) from one of the Chicago area casinos. I could choose from any ship in the Carnival line. Since the hubs & I have never been to New Orleans we choose Carnival Dream. We did upgrade to a balcony, then the cruise line upgraded us to a balcony on deck 11. Don't know how that was an upgrade but it actually turned out to be more convenient for us as I had ...

Embarking: Once in the building during the appropriate time slot it went fast. If you get to New Orleans port too early, you are stuck standing in the garage outside!! Ship: Pros: Food was excellent as always Pool are very nice with lots chairs and room. Entertainment in show room very good. Comedians, First two excellent, second two not as good. ...

I told my first cruise for my birthday and it was amazing! I went to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. I had such a great time even thought it did ran at all three ports in the late afternoon due to Hurricane Season!! The food on the cruise was great and I really enjoyed the Seaside Brunch the best. We had great tablemates so I looked forward to dinner everynight. Be sure to pick the early ...

A Dream of a Cruise

This was our second cruise on the Dream. If you like big ships and lots of people then this is the ship for you. Can't imagine the size of the new Vista which is already out and the Horizon which will be out soon. I think I will concentrate on Carnival's smaller ships for future cruises. We were excited by the ports of call for this cruise; Cozemel, Belize, and Roartan. Visited these ports on ...
