Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Disappointing

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

Chose this ship due to reviews, port, and schedule. Have been on more than ten cruises with several cruise lines and this was my least favorite of all. Carnival always offers a good time at a fair price but I'll pay more and choose another brand next time. The food was the most disappointing part of the week, was not good and always cold. I'm not a food snob, but they can do much better than ...

Family Christmas Cruise 2016

We had a great time on our family of 6, 3 cabin Christmas Cruise to the Western Caribbean out of New Orleans. This was a great cruise, close to home and very affordable. The pools were quite crowded most of the time thus they weren't inviting to use. Our ages included 2 mid 20s, 1- 30s. 1 - 40s, 1-50s and 1 - 60s. Everyone was able to find plenty of entertainment to suit their tastes. We met ...

This is the 2nd time I have sailed the Dream. The Comedy clubs and shows are great on this ship, and Guy's Burger Joint is the best. Great modern ship with great food and relaxation! They have the Cove Balcony on this ship which puts you at water level with a very private balcony. The sun and rain do not find you on the balcony and it is very private with a great place to sit and relax and enjoy ...

Sunrises and Sunsets are the best thing since wedding cake! My hubby and I ordered breakfast daily to eat on the balcony. This was our 25 wedding anniversary present to ourselves! We had been planning it for several months and were so excited when December 11th arrived! We drove in to New Orleans and spent the night at the Hilton Garden Inn in the French Quarter. When it was time to embark ...

On 12/11/16 Sunday morning we boarded the Dream immediately,by being VIP'S we walked right in with no line to the captains lounge after our security check in. total time 10 minutes and were in the captains lounge having refreshments, we waited in the lounge for about 2 hrs before we were allowed to board the ship. The Dream is a huge ship; we first had booked a cove balcony and carnival ...

We left out of New Orleans on a 7 day cruise and the time and dates this was the only ship. enjoyed the ship, familiar with the ship since we cruised a total of 3 times in a row. very nice crew and clean. The food was good. They had some type of shrimp creole dish that you would have thought someone from Louisiana cooked. it was delicious. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smooth. ...

Haven.t crused on Carnival in a couple of years. I wasn't happy with all the cut backs that they have done. The dinning room has taken the elegance out of dinning. They didn't even set the table correctly. Used the knive and forks for napkin weights. No table cloths except on dress up night.Forgot things on our orders. My wife was served her baked potato while she was eating her dessert. The waiters ...

Last Time on a Mega Ship

Well this was a very interesting cruise. I have sailed in the past on a Disney ship (can't remember the name), the Norwegian Pearl, and the Celebrity Summit. This was my first trip with Carnival and I was a bit concerned with it being a budget line and a party boat. Needless to say I was surprised at how quiet our forward cove balcony was, how wonderful the crew was, and how nicely the ship was ...

I have been on several cruises with various cruise lines and 4 of them with Carnival. This was one of the easier ships to get around on. The food is the worst of any cruise I have been on. The dining room food was never warm, very small portions and not a very appeasing menu to choose from. The buffet is about the same, food not warm, not tasty, very bland and this includes breakfast, lunch and ...

Best cruise so far

I honestly don't understand all the negative reviews lately. This was by far my best cruise trip ever. All bar staff, sales staff, and dining staff were top notch. Jase was our cruise director and was very entertaining. Embarkation was very smooth and easy. I was on the ship by 11:30. Debarkation wasn't quite as smooth as embarkation, but I do not believe that is Carnivals fault because you have ...
