Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This was my 13th Carnival Cruise and the Dream didn't disappoint!! We flew into New Orleans two days prior so we can do some sightseeing as we've never been there before.. We stayed at the OMNI New Orleans French quarter and enjoyed the hotel very much as it was right in the middle of it ... we enjoyed the most walking down Bourbon Street and doing all the sightseeing by foot. I ...

Carnival Dream was not all that dreamy...

I chose a cruise as a short getaway for my husband and myself. We live in New Orleans so Carnival made sense as it allowed us to be dropped off at the port. As a person with mobility issues (able to walk, use a cane, sometimes use a walker, not able to stand for long periods), I was quickly directed to a "Special Assistance" line and this did get us on board with relative ease. If you any issues ...

Living in Orlando and close to 4 ports we drove to New Orleans for the first time to cruise with very dear friends that work on the Dream. This was our 14th cruise on Carnival and our 3rd on the Dream. Embarkation went smoothly, went to the Captain's lounge around 11 and was on the ship by 1130. Leaving the port of New Orleans was very different than leaving out of ports in Florida. ...

Great Holiday Cruise!

We booked this cruise as the most affordable option over the Holidays. Having sailed Disney and RC previously, was not sure what to expect with Carnival. We ended up having a fantastic time and will definitely sail Carnival again. Ship and Cabin were both great. Our room steward kept our room clean and was very friendly, knew us all by name. We ate lunch in the buffet and main dining room, food ...

New Year's Cruise on the Dream

This was my 10th cruise, and my first going solo. I chose this port and date as it coincided with my office closing for the holidays. I have cruised on Princess, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Carnival, and have had a great time on them all. My previous cruises were out of either Miami, Puerto Rico or Galveston. Embarking from New Orleans made for quite a difference in the type of passengers ...

Dreamy Relaxation

We had an offer letter for a bargain and this was one of the cruises available. We thought it would be fun to sail over New Years. It was fun! The New year celebration was done up very well and will be remembered for many years. Aside from that the cruise itself was slightly above average. We booked Beach breaks through Island Marketing at every port and just got into the relaxation mode. Because ...

Our family traveled to New Orleans for a cruise on the Carnival Dream from Dec 26-Jan 3, 2017. It was AMAZING. I had read so many reviews leading up to the cruise that I was a nervous wreck. Embarkation. I was prepared for this to be hell. It was fast and easy. We arrived at the time we had chosen and we were on the boat with a drink in our hand within 45 minutes. Our cabin was ready at ...

First Christmas Cruise

Embarkation was great, probably the best port to leave and return to in the US. Buffett has gone down since the last cruise, never got a hot meal from the buffett the whole time on-board. Seems the serving line is set up entirely wrong, Ex: ( During breakfast, move thru the line until the end, get your bacon, (which the rationed like gold) and toast, then have to back track and cut in front ...

Our party of five, ranging in age from 10 to 72, had a wonderful Christmas Cruise on the Carnival Dream. From the time we pulled into the parking garage at the NOLA port until we boarded was under an hour and we felt it was well organized. We choose Balcony cabins forward on deck 7 because we like a quiet location. It was perfect and the rooms were ready at 1:30. Our luggage was delivered ...
