This was my first cruise. I had a great time. The room steward we had was absolutely the best and went out of their way to make our voyage fantastic. Entertainment was amazing. Only issue I had with the food was the blandness they tend to need to fix it to accommodate the most food tastes.

This cruise was a "Kick in the Pants FUN" there were five in our group and we had an amazing time. We made the most of every moment and found ourselves so tired that sleeping was literally a dream...pardon the pun.

This was the first cruise for me and my wife. We had no idea what to expect, except for what our friends had told us and reading about others experiences. For the most part the information was pretty accurate. We did pack too much but that will change for the next cruise.

PROS:
- Embarkation and Debarkation - both fast and efficient. We were prepared for a very long wait and a slow process so maybe that helped us view it as a more positive experience in the end.
- Food - all around delicious! Again, we went in with rather low expectations and came out extremely pleased.

This was our first and last cruise on Carnival. We have traveled a lot around the world but never on a cruise and if we ever travel again by cruise it won’t be with Carnival. We took the 7-day Carnival Dream to Mahogany Bay, Belize, and Cozumel. We paid extra for a Balcony room on an upper deck (#8339) in case we had motion sickness.

My husband and I had taken this cruise many years ago from a different port and ended up avoiding a hurricane at the time. We could not go to Cozumel because the docks were blown out so stayed out to sea for an extra day. We had been to this port previously on another cruise so weren't affected or disappointed. This was the largest ship we have been on. Mostly go on Spirit Class so was concerned about movement of people on the ship. Other than that you have to go to deck 5 to get from end to end without going to the upper decks, we moved well. I am disabled and am not allowed to walk the stairs. However, the elevators were full a lot of the time so ended up doing the stairs more than I should have. ...

We sailed on the Dream on the October 1st to 9th. It was supposed to be a 7 day cruise but because of Hurricane Nate, we sailed an extra day. The cruise was mostly great with a few bumps.
